Greek Restaurants near Leduc

“my wife and I were staying in Nisku for a couple days, we were hungry and decided to go for a drive to Leduc as I needed to go to Shoppers and take a look for a good meal. We aren't from here and was our first trip to the area. We spotted Zambellis atthe end of the plaza and decided to give it a try. What happened next was purely cosmic for a series of events that started as we drove through North Battleford yesterday lead us all the way here. When we walked in we were met with warm greetings, a very charming and comfortable atmosphere. Indeed a cery welcoming environment. The decor was delightful and fun, almost made you feel like you were home. Our server, a fine and very polite gentleman by the name of Robert brought drinks right away and was very informative of what was on for a special. After giving us a few moments to take a look at the menu, we started with the bruschetta, my wife chose the Lasagna and meat sauce with cheese toast, and I elected to have the Philly Steak Sandwich with Poutine and a side of au jus. We didn't have to wait long before our Bruschetta came out. It was an absolutely amazing fluffy flat bread piled high with their delicious tomato'y topping. Tangy and savory, delightful salty. The best I have had by far. It was warm and flavorful. Top marks for that. Once finished our entrées came soon after. OH MY GOOD GOD. The lasagna was hot and cheesy. Perfect balance of flavor. Peppery and decadent, it was the epitome of zesty. The Philly Sandwich was the stuff of legends. The perfectly toasted bun piled high with a generous portion of tender juicy beef, sautéed peppers and onions and oh lets not forget they definitely did NOT skip on the cheese. Paired with that warm au jus, the perfect coupling *chefs kiss*. It was a masterpiece in my opinion and I do consider myself a bit of a Beef Dip/Philly Sandwich snob of sorts lol. The poutine was absolutely delicious, crispy yummy fries with a rich gravy and cheese all melty inside. I had to pace myself because it was so good, I tried to savor every bite. When we finished, Robert told us the dessert options. All sounding so wonderful, my wife decided on the Tiramisu and I chose the Baklava. Now when I used the term delicious in describing these desserts, that term is nowhere near good enough to convey just how amazing these treats were. The Tiramisu was beyond divine. Rich coffee flavor combined with creamy chocolaty goodness. Every bite was better than the last, a very nice size as well. Then we come to my dessert and my personal all time favorite, the Baklava. To call this phenomenonal would be a tragic understatement. A beautiful square of this heavenly treat was nice and warm, drizzled with a white chocolate sauce and surrounded by pillows of whipped cream. It was crispy and wonderfully chewy. Slight crunch of the nuts inside. Sweet but not overpowering. Just the perfect amount of all the combined flavors to tantalize your tongue. I was the perfect end to a perfect meal. Robert was such a delight. He was very attentive and informative. A wonderfully friendly demeanor. He took very very good care of us. My wife and I kept saying we are so glad that we had to go get items at Shoppers otherwise we would have never come across this absolutely gem of a restaurant. Truly you all have got it right. We came all the way from Humboldt Saskatchewan and we can definitely say that if we find ourselves coming this way again, well will 100% be coming back. Anyone that we know of that may be coming through this way we will be sure to let them know about Zambellis and the Amazing people and phenomenonal food. 100/10 for food 100/10 for service 100/10 for atmosphere just all around 100/10 for everything. Not to mention how impressed we were at the sizes of the portions and the fantastic prices. It felt like we were having a 5 star experience at 1star prices. “I recently tried the Falafel Wrap from OPA! and was pleasantly surprised. The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a nice blend of spices that gave it good flavor without being too heavy.

The wrap was fresh and well-assembled, with a good balance of veggies, tzatziki, and falafel in every bite. The pita bread was soft and warm, which really brought the whole wrap together. It’s a solid vegetarian option if you’re looking for something filling but not overly greasy.

Would definitely order it again for a quick, flavorful meal on the go.“
