The owner was very kind, and the food was delicious. While it’s a restaurant and store, they don’t offer dine-in services.
I ordered a small meal to go all i got was a little bit of meat and all rice for $20 and they stapled it up in a paper bag so you don't look at it right away I got home and seen what they gave and I don't think what they gave me was worth $20.. so if you go to this place make sure you look at what your getting before you take it home plus had to wait 25 minus and it wasn't even busy. Last time I went there my friend wanted fish they didn't have fish so he just got rice and slaw they charge him $25 for just rice a small portion of slaw definitely wasn't worth it I honestly don't know why I went back for the same results. You'll see when you go there not worth it
BE WARNED! this restaurant gives stale dry food that was made the previous day. Orded jerk chicken large and I couldn't believe how dry and terrible it was. They obviously heat their food up because of course nothing they serve is fresh
I am very disappointed. I traveled all the way from Edmonton to purchase two large plates, and I was served only one piece of chicken on one large plate, along with a tiny piece of plantain. This is quite ridiculous; the plate was mostly filled with rice. Additionally, the portion of oxtails was very small. I literally paid $45 for rice.
Breakfast is excellent
I live in Edmonton, and this place is 10/10 worth the drive to Leduc. The food is SO good. Best jerk chicken and coleslaw I’ve had in a long time!
Just finished the oxtail with beans a few minutes ago...it was so delicious! Whoever cooked today, did so with love!
We've been a few time and they just never let us down! The jerk chicken with the fried plantains, rice and ox tail gravy is just so flipping good, and always gotta have a Jamaican beef patty. Some places don't end up using enough seasoning/spice but this place get it perfect just enough kick to give it flavour but not so much that people that can't handle spice are going to fall over. I would even say that this place is better than most places back home in Vancouver! 100 percent would recommend
Listen, i just finished my first rounds of the jerk chicken and festival ? And let me tell you it was the best I've had here at Cariwest... Great and friendly staff ? I wasn't disappointed and you won't be either, go check them out.
i havent been eating very much lately because ive been very sad but then i ordered the oxtail with rice and peas and it made me cry because of how good it was im coming back again for sure
