Sawmill Prime Rib & Steak House Leduc

Had a sirloin steak calamari for appetizers. Calamari was drowning in oil not cooked at high enough temp steak was tasteless and had to send back an rebook. Fried potatoes that came with meal were also full of oil green beans raw. Not sure how this is a top place to eat an pay top dollar good order of chicken wings would've been better terrible 47th anniversary supper.

I had a gift card that took me into this restaurant for only the 2nd time since moving to Alberta. I ordered it as takeout as I just wanted a nice little treat to go home with. Ordered the steak bites, side Caesar salad and a French onion soup. When I got home with my order I realized I had gotten 2 soups and no salad. I simply called them to let them know and they offered to make it right regardless. I was thoroughly pleased with how the manager handled the mistake, and in saying that the food was absolutely delicious. I couldn't get enough of either of it. 12/10 will definitely be back again.

Exceptional quality, my expectations were a bit low considering the proximity to a truck stop and somewhat unusual location. But this restaurant is excellent.

Meh. I wanted to love. It took a while to be seated and get drinks. The steak Oscar sauce was thick and really salty. The steak was cooked perfectly and the veggies were great.

We went for Sunday brunch... good selection of food and desserts. The roast beef was a bit dry, but it was hard to tell as the lady cutting it for us couldn't have cut it any thinner. I mean “paper” thin. Asked for a bit more and that's what I got. A “bit” more... You would think she was paying for it out of her own pocket. I would have had to make six trips up to get 6oz. Good service and selection otherwise....

Excellent food and service. More importantly, I had an absolute disaster with my mobile device. I asked Peter the Manger if he could assist me and he very kindly did so. We were overnighting at a nearby hotel in advance of a major holiday and significant anniversary celebration. If not for the kindness afforded to us by this business we may have not been able to complete our trip. Excellent business that truly cares about people.

Unlike other less than stellar experiences with Sawmills in Edmonton, my blue rare fillet was perfectly done. The sides and presentation were exact and well presented. The wait staff was friendly and persice

Food is always top notch..going in on a Sunday evening when it was slow, definitely didn't expect to stand there waiting to be seated for 10 minutes. Honestly almost left. Finally somebody stopped asked bar or lounge, when I said I don't really care i figured they would have told the next person who came out so I wouldn't be asked again..kinda started the whole evening off on a bad note.
My server was wonderful however!

Staff went above and beyond.
My steak was perfectly cooked, so were the side dishes. Portions are not huge but I found it to be more than enough for me.
This is a steakhouse, expect steakhouse prices. The food and service were excellent. I dare say they are better than The Keg.

We always go to sawmill when we come to Leduc, this time the service was amazing thanks to our waitress But we had asked for vinegar, both my mother and I used it, and once we tried our food it had a high strong chemical taste to it, our server said she would get the manager and no manager came to speak with us. We did receive another meal but was absolutely turned away from that odd taste! Thanks to our waitress for being so wonderful and apologetic.

Excellent Prime rib dinner. Also had bacon wrapped scallops and crab stuffed mushrooms which were very good.

As usual Brunch was wonderful , plenty of options . Service by Royan was exceptional . This lady is very professional with her waitressing . She us to be commended . Kendra of course was fantastic with her up beat , dedication to all guests there. Great restaurant. !
