I had a gift card that took me into this restaurant for only the 2nd time since moving to Alberta. I ordered it as takeout as I just wanted a nice little treat to go home with. Ordered the steak bites, side Caesar salad and a French onion soup. When I got home with my order I realized I had gotten 2 soups and no salad. I simply called them to let them know and they offered to make it right regardless. I was thoroughly pleased with how the manager handled the mistake, and in saying...
We went for Sunday brunch... good selection of food and desserts. The roast beef was a bit dry, but it was hard to tell as the lady cutting it for us couldn't have cut it any thinner. I mean “paper” thin. Asked for a bit more and that's what I got. A “bit” more... You would think she was paying for it out of her own pocket. I would have had to make six trips up to get 6oz. Good service and selection otherwise....
Excellent food and service. More importantly, I had an absolute disaster with my mobile device. I asked Peter the Manger if he could assist me and he very kindly did so.
We were overnighting at a nearby hotel in advance of a major holiday and significant anniversary celebration. If not for the kindness afforded to us by this business we may have not been able to complete our trip.
Excellent business that truly cares about people.
