My absolute favourite coffee shop. The girls always remember my order, make me laugh or chat when I sit. Best coffee ever, warm atmosphere and all the food is delicious. Thank you for always being so welcoming!

From reading other reviews I must’ve got an off day. Went in to get coffee, hot chocolate & cookies as part of a day date with my toddler. Staff were sufficient in taking the order but not sure where the connection or community/friendly atmosphere was. We waited for ~4 minutes and not a single attempt to chat or make us feel welcome. It was so off putting they forgot to give me the cookie I ordered for my son and I didn’t even bother reminding them.
This is fine but as a local place with such welcoming reviews I did expect a different experience.
Kid-friendliness: Staff didn’t seem impressed with my son being in there. I noticed they were warmer (and friendlier) with the two dogs who were in there before us.

This local coffee shop is an absolute favourite of mine. One of the best dirty chai’s I’ve ever had. The staff are nice and they really get to know you, one of the many charms (since they always remind me of my stamp card and know I forget.) I love the availability of different milks, and that they have lactose free, vegan syrup and vegan food options. I live out of town, and the drive in is worth the drinks, the atmosphere, and the service. I’ve spent hours hanging out with friends, drinking coffee and enjoying the vibes. ?

Walked into the Nook at 2PM on a Saturday for the 1st time , the Croissant bacon & egg sandwich advertised in the front window looked delicious! , so I politely asked the young girl working if I could make an order to go , she looked at me with rolled eyes and replied “You want water?” , So I replied “No .. I would like to order the Croissant sandwich to go please” , and she just sighed and replied “ohh we dont do those after 12pm” , I didn’t bother to ask why or what , I just said ok thank you and walked out confused . Im guessing bacon & egg is a forbidden item only available in morning and impossible to make after a certain time of day . They are considered a “Café” after all and they close at 4PM! The audacity to close at 4PM and still refuse to serve certain menu items for a petty period of 4 hours is mind blowing. Never going back there again

Your employee did in fact roll her eyes , twice and made it clear she didn’t have any motivation to be there , you are not to tell me what she did or didn’t do . If you weren’t there. I wasn’t asking , I was telling you my experience . Period . What is mind blowing is the fact that you open at 9am (late) and close at 4pm (early) , and only give people 3 hour window to purchase the best available item you have. It’s laziness. Are you in the business of making money or you rather argue with people? Take the feedback and move on . If you want to argue with me on what she did and didn’t do we can do this forever if you want .

Coffee was good on our first visit however we came back for some smoothies and they were incredibly sour, tasted like the yogurt had gone bad. We kindly asked if it was possible for a substitute or refund and the manager was so rude and obnoxious. I've never had such a bad experience with service. Will not be coming back...
