So after a 10 year hiatus I have Waldorf a shot as I was craving Chinese food. Overall I was pleased with my order though I do have a couple of gripes with my order. I'll start with the egg rolls I got as an Appy. Very disappointing to say the least. The eggrolls are you typical frozen Sisco brand frozen eggrolls unfortunately. Not much for filling on the inside and we're wet and soggy in the middle. I definitely recommend skipping on the eggrolls as I have had better in food court Chinese food. Now onto my main courses. First of the portion sizes are FANTASTIC and definitely get your money's worth! I had Beef & Broccoli l, Chicken Fried Rice and Beef Shanghai Noodles. All the dishes tasted great and the veggies were all cooked perfectly and tasted fresh and crisp. My only.complaint is that there could have been more meat in the dish considering the price you are paying. 8 small pieces of beef in the Beef and broccoli was disappointing to say the least. I had my order delivered and it arrived in a timely manner and the delivery person was a joy to deal with at the door. All in all I would still recommend the food despite the couple of issues I did have.

Amazing Food! My husband and I just discovered this fantastic restaurant. We both agree it’s the best Chinese Food we have had to date. Beef with Broccoli , Honey Garlic Chicken and the Chicken Chow are incredible. This is an independent Family Owned Restaurant with wonderful Customer Service.Janice the owner was so friendly and lovely to deal with. We would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return!

I asked for minimum oil & I got what I asked! Medical needs. I didn’t think I was going to have my blood pressure challenged by excessive sodium.
The Cantonese Chow Mein was so salty that I had to pick through to eat what I could. Of course, soya sauce was unthinkable to add.
I would not take remainder of my meal home.
My lips were literally burning & swollen within 30 minutes of eating. It is 3 hours later & my mouth is still suffering.
My son’s meal was the same.
We agreed to forgo any further meals at this restaurant.
The waitress was very sweet & friendly.
Disappointed.

Ordered the beef and broccoli (20 dollars) there was like 6 pieces of beef in the whole order
Ordered the egg foo young (another 20 bucks) wasn't bad. Best out of the whole order.
Way too pricey for what you are getting. In my mind you spend 70-100 on Chinese food you should have leftovers for a week.
Kids and wife weren't impressed. Nor was I.

Being new to the city this was my first order … I ordered delivery so I can’t comment on atmosphere…. I ordered lemon chicken, the house special chop suey, Singapore noodles and spring rolls. Everything arrived hot and delicious. Veggies in the chop suey were so fresh and singapores noodles (the dish that makes me return or boycott a place lol) were scrumptious.. definitely will order again

I don’t understand anyone who gives this a bad review. The lady on the phone was wonderful. I called because I have a shellfish allergy. - the food was delivered super quick and it was absolutely delicious. Hot and big portions. Five stars. Amazing.

Second time being at The Waldorf and the food was just as delicious and fresh as the first time. Very good sized portions! Very good value! The service was absolutely amazing as well! This restaurant deserves a 10+. It's very hard to find a good Chinese food restaurant. The location is in the old Leduc area, so the outside isn't updated but when you enter the super clean interior of the restaurant it shines.
As me and my daughter were looking over the menu we decided to order our favorites, we both bypassed on the spring rolls because our experience with other restaurants have not been great, the hostess told us that the spring rolls they made were fresh, not pre-frozen wraps and all the ingredients were of the highest quality. So I decided to try them. they were honestly the best spring rolls we ever had.
The chicken chow Mein was full of flavour and the sweet and sour pork was made with lean pork tenderloin, the coating was crunchy and not at all greasy. We also enjoyed the beef with broccoli which had slivers of tender beef in a light sauce and the bright green broccoli crowns were cooked perfectly with a slight bite.
I asked for the hostess name so I could write a google review for the amazing food we had and then found out she was the owner of the restaurant. I told her that we would be back again for sure as this is now our favorite Chinese restaurant.
Please don't bypass this restaurant because of the location, it's honestly the best. After several Chinese restaurants in Leduc have closed shop, Waldorf restaurant has been able to keep going even with rising food costs but still is offering the high quality food one remembers to make them their favorite place to go.
