This much amount of stuff with $20. It is insane even tho I ordered chicken Biryani for takeout and they gave me something else. In biryani nuts and green paper seriously. Who put nuts and green papers in biryani. And I don’t think it’s with this amount cost $20 wow. I should have not changed my previous preference Rivaaz Indian Cuisine.
Ordered veg noodles and instructed to keep mild due to health issues but they put a lot of red chilli cut into pieces . When I called the guy started arguing that it must be ketchup not red chilli. I have picture but not sure how to upload here. Wish I could give 0 star.
I don’t know what to say, samosas were really bad. Tasted like home made alloo sbji stuffed in there, no seasoning nothing.and on the name of chutney they gave onions filled with tooo much artificial colors. Even after many hours I can still see those colors on my hand 👎🏻

Restaurantji Recommends
I arrived at Apna Tandoori House at about 6:45 p.m., after the usual supper rush, and found that I was the only customer in the place. I was pleased by the atmosphere and decor, although there were several large plastic figures of Sikh people which looked very cheap and did detract from the appearance of the restaurant. Upon entering I was greeted by the host, who may have been the owner and appeared to be the only front end person in the place. He very casually indicated a booth for me, gave me a menu, and asked if I wanted anything to drink and went off to get my beverage, returning shortly with my drink. He then retired to a booth in the back corner where he had some friends visiting. That was the last I saw of him. Within 30 minutes I had decided that this was just about the worst service I had ever seen in a restaurant of any kind and was considering leaving to seek my meal elsewhere. Just about at that time a young lady entered through the front door and proceeded directly through to the back of the restaurant, returning to the front about 5 minutes later as the server. She took my food order and returned to the back. After a while, at least 15 to 20 minutes, she appeared out front again and began doing things with dishes and trays at a counter along the back wall. After several more minutes she returned to the back and came back out with my meal which she served to me. She was pleasant and polite, but was far from amazing as a server. Her service, while substantially better than the host's was still far from outstanding. It was still one of poorest service performances I have encountered. I had ordered Lamb Korma, Peas Pilau, and Naans. The lamb was truly excellent, and the naans were quite nice as well. The peas pilau was disappointing. I have eaten in many Indian restaurants in a number of cities, and peas pilau has always, without exception, been saffron rice with peas. This time it was very plain and rather damp basmati rice with no seasoning and with some peas tossed it. They really need to work on that. I am no chef, but am a fairly competent cook and often prepare Indian curries at home. I freely admit that my korma does not come close to Apna's, and their naans are better than mine, but my basmati rice, with or without saffron or peas, is much better than theirs. Quite surprising and very disappointing. In conclusion, the service ranged from terrible to merely poor, the korma was outstanding and the naans were quite good. The rice was very poor. In short, I will not be returning, and I do not recommend Apna Tandoori House at all.

Wonder how they got 4.1 rating. We ordered chicken fried rice and they gave us some mixed rice with frozen veggies sautéed in tomato sauce with fennel seeds and cumin. what they’re serving is absolute garbage! The butter chicken had so much colour in it that our hands were stained till 2 days after and also we ordered for medium spicy and yet the curry was 10x spicier than we thought (we are South Indians and can handle a lot of heat, yet this was too much for us). Naan was good but even plain naan had oil soaking and dripping (it could kill you). One of my worst restaurant experiences, never to return! Advise for other people like me - Please do not order the chicken fried rice ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolute worst Indian restaurant!!!!!
Chicken fried rice - I don’t even know what they put in it (I guess chicken 65 with some veg pulav and tomato sauce…. Yuck!!!) the butter chicken’s meat had a foul smell..(old meat and on the verge of going bad) and was extremely spicy! The old reviews showed that it was a good place therefore went to try it out but looks like the chef changed and now someone needs to give them some cooking classes! Highly not recommended!!!

We visited the place and ordered two different dishes. One of them was burnt also, when they were preparing it, we smell something burning. Another one, goat curry was not the right one as it tastes awful. When we asked them, they raised their voice and started blaming us that we should have given the right order in a correct way, which was very surprising to hear. Not a good choice to visit here.
