My favourite place to take friends for dinner. Food is fantastic, and eating together over a hot pot is a unique experience for sure. 10/10 would recommend

I went here with my family yesterday and it was fantastic! It was our first time trying hotpot, and we absolutely loved the experience. The server was so kind and helpful—explaining how everything worked . It was a bit confusing at first, but we quickly got the hang of it and had so much fun.

Dude. I always liked my food, no matter what it was. Despite my broad appetite, this restaurant has definitely been one of the worst food experiences in my entire life 😩. Going into the restaurant, the lighting was poor, flies roaming around freely with one even landing into my water 🤢. The server was very nice and attentive, but during the meal, they were no where to be found 🤔. When my hot-pot arrived, a lingering stench filled the table, with my whole family questioning what it was 🫢. With deeper investigation, we realised it came from the broth, which reeked as if I were sniffing my dog’s odour. As time went by, the smell faded away… until they added additional broth 😑. Moving on, as the food arrived, there were some peculiar round-ish, 25¢ coin sized things (photo attached below) on my plate 🤨. Inquiring from the server, we realised it was meatballs. As an Asian, it has been quite an eye-opening experience seeing these weird shapes for meatballs. As usually they are bigger, and rounder… As the meal went on, each bite still had some hint of the strange scent from the broth, despite the smell fading away. Finishing the meal unsatisfied, my family and I agreed that we will never come back to this diner. 😥😓

P.S. This review is not meant to offend the staff and servers of this place. 🙇‍♂️

The server was attentive but the environment and the hotpot food were both very disappointing, especially for the price paid.

Good food, nice prices and they even have a Robot.....
We Ordered all you can eat hot pot and Sushi. Very nice variety to choose from for the hot pot (between your soup base and add-ins)
Sushi did not disappoint either, Good selection to choose from and sizes.
They even have a DIY sauce bar
Overall a great place to take family or friends.

We had a bad experience here unfortunately as the hotpot was extremely underwhelming. The server was very friendly and attentive, but instructions for ordering were a bit unclear. There’s a max on how much meat you can order, which I find odd considering the quantity and quality in one order. Each piece of meat was smaller than the size of my pinky it would get lost in the broth. Every other hot pot place we’ve been to in the past has had meat double the size, and no limit on how much you can order, either. The sponge tofu was inedible, it felt stale and it had an off texture, I had to spit it out. Overall the hotpot was disappointing to say the least.
The sushi was decent, nothing exciting and nothing terrible. The takoyaki was overcooked and was served with some sort of tomato paste that we had to scrape off. The shrimp tempura was also overcooked and didn’t come with the usual dipping sauce.
Most of the food didn’t taste very fresh, and for all of the reasons listed above, the price we paid (around $80 after tip for 2 people), was not worth it at all. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this restaurant.

The food is really quite tasty, the broth especially should be commended as well as the dipping sauce, absolute highlights.
The atmosphere is fun and social and it being in a firehouse gives it an old air which was really cool.

However, the 90 minute time limit on an all you can eat restaurant is a little strange.. especially when otherwise the place is pretty quiet. I can understand using the 90 minute time limit to get rid of sitters who are abusing the system, but I certainly didn't feel that was the case for me and my wife. Additionally, with it being quiet, I was a bit surprised that we had the wrong order show up and even more so surprised when food and drink ordered.. just didn't show up.

Would I go here again? Absolutely! I look forward to taking my sister in the future, but I think there is room for improvements as well.

I was really excited to see a hotpot in lethbridge, unfortunately the food was underwhelming to say the least. The food was far from fresh, frozen seafood which was probably a good thing since all the meat seemed off. I was not really sure if I should eat it or not. Left with a really crampy stomach.
The waitress was nice enough and the little robot was cute. Fortunately she didn't charge me for leaving uneatable food.
The building is old and rundown. Makes it hard to trust what you are eating when the environment is dirty. I like the concept but would not return.

I was so impressed by the service and quality of the food that we received. Especially loved the beef udon noodles and the hot pot experience. I will definitely be back, so fun to have a place like this in Lethbridge!

I had the most horrific restaurant experience of my life here today! I debated about posting a review because I never give a poor review but for the sake of food safety and the massive panic attack I'm having felt it needs to be shared. We ordered California maki and the texture was off. I thought maybe it was the seaweed not softening. The last roll all of a sudden there was a sensation of something snapping open and unfurling in my mouth. When I pulled it away from the crab I realized it was the plastic casing the crab came wrapped in. We had been fed and consumed plastic. I was in such a state of shock and anxiety that I spoke to the waitress and manager and they were nice enough not to make us pay. I did some looking up and am very concerned of the effects of eating plastic and in that quantity can do to us. We are watching and hoping for no side effects.
