My online payment failed, but the manager reached out by email and confirmed they would still prepare my order and allow me to pay at the store. The lady at the counter was incredibly kind and polite, and the prices are very reasonable. Honestly, anyone can afford a cake here for their special occasion!

I was at a Sourdough Bread Class, unfortunately I got sick partway through the class and had to leave. The owners/staff were amazing, caring and even contacted me the next day to see how I was. 100% they best bakery!
At first, we had some miscommunication, but the manager handled the situation perfectly and did whatever she could do to make the situation better. I don’t remember the other girl’s name but she was really good too. At the end, I was really satisfied by the service and of course the cake, looked pretty and tasted absolutely divine! Experienced professionalism at its best at Bootsma Bakery!

Originally I ordered from them because they have online cake ordering (which I loved!) I had never been in before so when I went in to pick up the cake, I discovered they have such a cute store! They have a wide variety of items (including coffee) and awesome seasonal items. Everyone was friendly and the cake was beautiful. I didn't give them any instruction on the icing colors but they did a fabulous job. The icing was light, not too sweet and a great price! We definitely recommend the triple chocolate cake.
I ordered a vanilla cake with raspberry filling and matching fancy cupcakes (as seen on their website as I'm from out of town) with yellow and orange roses for my parents’ 50th anniversary. When I picked up, there were no orange roses, cupcakes were mixed vanilla and chocolate with basic icing that was uneven. To top it off the cake turned out to be chocolate—not what I ordered. The only thing they got right was the Happy 50th Anniversary.
The staff confirmed my order form said yellow and orange but only apologized and offered no solution or follow-up. I spent $108 on something completely different from what I requested and honestly looked like something I could get at a grocery store. I am absolutely gutted. A beautiful cake for a 50th Anniversary is as important as a beautiful cake for a wedding. I hope the owner reaches out to make this right.

The lemon Danish was ah-mazing. I enjoy the iced lavender London fog, too, eventhough it was tiny. The fuzzy peach cheesecake was disappointing because of its dry texture, but I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet. Service was very friendly. I'll be back for more danishes!

Every morning my husband goes to bootsma and gets my daughter and I a donut, it's become a regular morning routine! As someone who doesn't generally eat donuts I can tell you that their donuts are absolutely delicious and addicting (in the best kind of way)! This morning my husband went in and came home with our donut like normal only this time there was a message on my donut bag 🩷
