Ordered a cake to go. They smashed it into a tiny container. When I went to open in, predictably, the entire topping was stuck onto the lid.

To the owner:
In your chase for the cost-cutting measures, get rid of the containers - just use the same cups you use for the drinks. Just jam the pastry into those, since you don't care about the food integrity. Might even put it through the blender to make it fit easier.

What a disrespectful place.

I am writing this review as an open love letter to the food at Bread, Milk, and Honey - specifically, the white chocolate brownies. These white chocolate brownies are like a gift from the heavens, Christmas in July, a true miracle. It’s been 3-4 years since I’ve had one - I don’t even know if they make them anymore - but I find myself on at least a weekly basis wishing I had the time to drive 2 provinces over just to get a single crumb of these brownies. I would complete the twelve labours of Hercules to have just one. To the creator of this divine treat, you deserve a raise, take all my money.

Amazing food, looked almost too good to eat and tasted better than it looked which blew me away. Got the pesto BLT, amazing, hot matcha, incredible, and a HUGE slice of chocolate cake, decadent. Atmosphere was great. The speakers were bumping the smiths and the pixies. The aesthetic was bright and fun. My only complaint was a not so friendly lady who took my order. But everyone has bad days, right?

Hi, I went to pick up an order from Bread milk & honey cafe, but the staff were very rude and completely ignored me when I asked about the order. They didn’t seem to care about online delivery customers at all. This kind of behavior is unprofessional and makes it difficult for delivery drivers to do their job. Please look into this issue and remind the restaurant that respect and communication are important for everyone using your platform.

Bread Milk and Honey in Lethbridge is the kind of café that makes you want to slow down and savor everything. It has a warm, inviting atmosphere and a genuine local charm that’s hard to find. You can tell right away that everything here is made with care and attention to detail.

I ordered a flat white, a bowl of Moroccan chicken and rice soup, and a slice of homemade chocolate pie, and each one was outstanding.

The flat white was excellent — smooth, balanced, and perfectly prepared. The espresso had rich depth without bitterness, and the milk was steamed just right for that silky texture. It’s the kind of coffee that shows real craftsmanship, not just another drink poured in a hurry.

The Moroccan chicken and rice soup tasted completely homemade, and it was easily one of the best soups I’ve had anywhere in Lethbridge. The broth was flavorful and perfectly seasoned with subtle Moroccan spices that gave it warmth without being overpowering. The chicken was tender, and the rice gave it just the right heartiness. It felt like something made fresh in a family kitchen.

To finish, the homemade chocolate pie was absolutely delicious. The crust was flaky and buttery, and the chocolate filling was smooth and rich without being too sweet. It had that perfect homemade quality that makes you appreciate real baking — simple, comforting, and deeply satisfying.

The staff were friendly, the service was relaxed but attentive, and the overall atmosphere made me want to stay longer just to enjoy another coffee. Everything about Bread Milk and Honey feels thoughtful and genuine — from the food to the people behind the counter.

If you’re in Lethbridge and looking for a place with great coffee, fresh homemade food, and desserts made from scratch, this café is a must-visit. It’s easily one of the best local spots in town.

Wasn't expecting much but canned Lipton chicken noodle soup with coconut milk and Thai seasoning and a canned skipjack tuna sandwich for $20 was less than my expectations. The tea was good, though.

I was in the area and wanted to check this place out. The atmosphere is very inviting. The staff were friendly. I ordered the matcha tart and the pumpkin tart. The matcha tart was AMAZING! Definitely recommend. The pumpkin tart was okay.

The name of the place is a bit confusing - I was expecting more bread and there was virtually none (I don't even remember if there was any bread on display!). Their pastry items didn't look as appealing as their sweet treats either.

Would go back again.

Good food and drinks but I was actually quite shocked when I was there this morning around 10am. My 7 year old accidentally spilled his full tea latte immediately after getting it all over his body (it was in a to-go cup as I asked but didn’t have a lid) and was screaming from the pain of the boiling water. I went up to grab ice and napkins etc and I looked at the staff. All three were looking at each other laughing and smirking. Maybe it wasn’t about my son, maybe it was but not one of them seemed to care one bit that a young child just dumped boiling hot tea all over and was screaming in pain from burning his entire chest and legs. One staff member did make him a new drink without being asked (she didn’t say anything. Just dropped it off and left) which I appreciated but I would suggest talking to your staff about being a little more human.

Bread, Milk and Honey is a solid spot if you need to get some work done or catch up on emails.
The vibe is chill and it’s easy to focus, whether you’re reading, working, or just hanging out with friends. I’d definitely stick to the drinks, they’re the highlight. Great place to post up for a couple hours and be productive (or not).
