Steak Sandwich was excellent. Demiglaze French Onion Soup was not to my liking, odd taste. Shrimp Thermidor Special was heavily salted. Chef must of spilled the salt bottle, couldn't taste anything else but the salt overload, its suppose to be creamy with a hint of garlic. I barely had a chance to eat anything before the server came back to the table and ask us how was everything??? Being Valentine's and my first time at this restaurant I didn't complain. Thinking back I should have called her back.
Drinks were a little pricey.
Overall very nice place!

Excellent food. The steak was perfectly cooked and the sides were amazing. But the real star of the show was our waitress, Deanna. She was so friendly, helpful and just an all around positive vibe! She made our date night extra special.

The staff were friendly and prompt, however, the complimentary bread could have used a moment or two under a heat lamp before serving (otherwise it was tasty), the brushetta was excellent. My husband had a steak which was a little chewey around the edges and slightly overdone. He still enjoyed it. My clubhouse was soggy on the bottom slice of bread. But the flavours were good. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and will be back.

Had the strawberry and basil cheesecake. Wasn’t impressed, tasted like the spreadable strawberry cream cheese you buy and had large chunks of cream cheese. Not blended well at all. At least the crust was good. $13 for a slice too. Expensive for a no bake chunky cheesecake. Don’t recommend.

Sorry to say, but I had a negative experience. On January 16, 2026, I arrived with two friends, we were promptly seated in a booth next to the private dining room. Despite the tucked away location, the environment was extremely noisy, so that was problem number one. Problem two was that out menus and empty cups were not removed from the table until after we left. The big problem was that I got very sick from gluten exposure. I had made my allergies very clear to the server and she repeated them back to me to confirm. I tried to order fries, which were labeled as gluten free, the server came back to tell me that they are not actually gluten free. So I tried to order a salad, also labeled gluten free, but she cam back to tell me that they could not make the salad gluten free. So, I ordered the fish tacos. One of my tacos disintegrated onto the taco stand(not an actual plate) so I had to eat it with a fork. The remaing taco shell was inedible as it was mush where it had disintegrated, and too hard at the edges. Before I got home I knew something was very wrong because my guts were gurgling and painful. I had a very ugly bathroom experience that needs no detailed explanation. This was a distinct gluten reaction. Not only did I suffer in the bathroom, but I also had cognitive symptoms for several days afterwards.Clearly, this establishment does not care about the well being of patrons. If they don't care about allergies, I can only image what the kitchen hygiene is like! If you cannot acommodate allergies, just be honest about it. It's utterly rediculous that I had to try and order three different items and still got sick. Thanks for ruining my weekend.

Great food and seasonal menu winter 2025, server was slightly overwhelmed with a rowdy hockey group, but another server saw and took over for our table.

We recently celebrated my dad’s 70th birthday here, and unfortunately it was a disappointing experience.

We came from out of town (closer for my dad) and chose this restaurant based on reviews and menu prices, expecting a mid- to high-end dining experience. Our group of 14 RSVP’d in advance, but the restaurant did not seem prepared for our arrival.

The food took an extremely long time to come out and was served only a few dishes at a time. By the time everyone received their meals, at least 45 minutes had passed. Those who were served first waited so we could eat together, which resulted in cold, soggy food. While that was our choice, we did not expect such long delays and felt meals should be served together.

Service was mediocre, with infrequent check-ins and slow drink refills. Our bill totaled around $1,000, averaging about $70 per person, which felt very steep considering the quality of both the food and service (especially with several children and vegetarians in our group).

It was disappointing to spend my dad’s 70th birthday here, especially after several of us drove 3–5 hours on wintry roads to attend. 99% of our group would not return.

The food was 10/10!! Flavours were spot on! Beyond impressed.
Service was good, I would just recommend taking the drinks when they are empty, and asking if the patrons need more.
Overall experience was amazing. Would highly recommend! Great job to the chef!

We were sat in a booth as requested. The service was prompt and efficient. Our meals were very taste , but both seemed overly salty. We enjoy Brickstone.
