Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Regular customers.....not the same place!!! We ordered 2 seniors meals as usual, but they were very small... half of the norm. 3 pieces of chicken half a finger length each. We also got the ice cream first and then had to wait for the hot food. It was 33 degrees a hot day! and the ice cream melted all over our floorboards while we waited. There were no strawberries in the sundaes at all just sweet thick gross jelly with no strawberry taste. YUCK!!! YUCK GROSS!!!! We will no longer be regulars at this location. The new management is not familiar with Canadian or DQ customs. We've seen this happen with a number of our past favorites, over management, under customer care, and lack of quality food. The workers were running around in chaos. New owners..they will sink in a year. We will go elsewhere. HORRIBLE

I hate giving negative reviews but this wasn’t a good experience. I ordered 2 chicken wraps off the snack menu and a pup cup. When we got to the window, we were informed that the pup cup is THREE bucks. I get that it’s a product but at our north side location they’re free and even if they need to charge, that’s a wild price for an inch of ice cream in a cup. Then we were ignored in the drive thru for a solid 10 or 15 minutes, and the store inside had only 2 tables so they weren’t run off their feet by any means. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 for the benefit of the doubt, hopefully this was just an off day because if not, I think management needs to do some serious training.

The food was great today. Had the crispy chicken sandwich and this is the first DQ I have been to in a couple of years where the chicken wasn't so small that it was hidden in the bun somewhere. This one, the chicken stuck outside of the bun all the way around. Also got the routine, which was great! They must know when to change the fryer oil because they were actually fresh looking and tasting. The staff were so friendly and kind. Great job you guys and thank you for proving that customer service still exists somewhere. Love it!!!

This establishment doesn’t know the difference between large and small. Plus lazily made sundaes make this place not worth going to.

If I’m paying $5 for a large sundae it should not only look right but be the right size. This place specifically has let me down in that department over and over.

Dairy Queen ice cream cake is one of my all time favourite desserts. My brother in law Brett and I have different opinions on why it’s the best dessert ever… I say it’s the fudge filling and he says the fudge gets to much attention! lol At least we agree that we both love it! This DQ has one of the best selections of cakes I’ve seen at a DQ before. I was really impressed. The service worker that wrote Lily’s name and birthday messages on her cake did a really nice job! Chi Miigwetch for your service.

The service was not good and the general manager didn’t seem like friendly….

Asked for a Oreo, got a cookie dough, I told them I ordered an Oreo, I was expecting them to fix it but they stared at me like it was too bad.

My pretzel sticks were incredibly hard and solid, I couldn't even bite through them. They were visibly burnt and not even warm. I had previously ordered a cake and recived rude and rushed service with a staff member interrupting me and not filling out my specified order. Deeply unsatisfied with this DQ location and will not be returning for the forseeable future.

This DQ is great with but one problem, that being, it smells of sewage everytime I go through the south side doors and only slightly as you enter they're east entrance I get my food to go cause breathing that is unhealthy.

Service was a bit slow but typical for Dairy Queen.

Mon night date night with wife, we were thinking of BP's but opted for DQ cause of the ice cream. No regrets cause it was honestly a better food experience. You know when you see a team of Filipinos behind any food counter that it's gonna be the best service. They were literally in the process of cleaning the ice cream machine when we ordered and still got us ice cream 45 mins before closing (take that, Northside DQ!). Whole place was clean, and they accommodated a weird order we had, and the food was top notch and delivered to the table. I don't remember ever being disappointed at this location.

Great place for birthdays

Pulled in late at night when most other options were closed or closing. Food was surprisingly good. Was able to buy just the meat patties for the dog. Grilled chicken sandwich was excellent.

We stopped in for a quick lunch to go.

Tastey, well loaded burgers 🍔 with fresh ingredients and freshly made fries.

We will be back.
