El Comal Mexican

Our family all loves this place. 8 of is were there for my birthday tonight and there wasn’t one mediocre meal. All delicious. I recommend the Burrito Especial “spicy” . It’s a very large meal and delicious too. My sister loves the bean soup and I always have their house salad. Keep up the great work guys!!

this place is either loved or hated. but I can see why on both ends. I think you need to know what it is you like best about mexican and go with that. when you come here type deal. I went with ppl who know and love this restaurant and was advised what not to order. I would have gone with a taco or burrito because I'm uncultured like that but was dredirected toward the fajitas and the mexican beer. I was completely satisfied with it. I wish the portions were bigger but I myself am a bigger person. the service was slow but I was told she was new (at the time) and our party was about 20 people so we all did our part to be patient.

Authentic Mexican cooking from scratch. ❤ Maria pumps out a wide variety of delicious authentic dishes that keep people coming back. All her sauces are made fresh in-house and her home made hot sauce is out of this world! Portions are generous and prices reasonable. Great value for your restaurant dollar!

This is great. We stopped in a half hour before closing time. They treated us like loyalty. They even stayed late to allow us to get the whole experience. The owner is so pleasant and she visited with us an showed us pictures of her sweet Chihuahua. The food was delicious and they are good about letting you know if a meal will be spicy. Which my wifey needs. We will definitely be back to El Comal, soon.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. With all the beautiful Mexican decor would love to see a touch more colour on my plate. A slice of line or cilantro garnish? My food had excellent flavour and was unique. Thank you!

Decent food. Pretty good portions. The starter salad is just iceberg lettuce, and a packaged ranch dressing (if requested), the house dressing is ok, but mostly vinegar.

We dined with a group of friends and received attentive, friendly service. The food was tasty and fresh. The portions are great and so are the prices! Highly recommend this hidden gem!

My favorite place to eat! The food is incredible and the atmosphere is perfect. I'd reccomend it to anyone.

The food was good, but not spectacular. The flavours were there for the most part. I did not enjoy the dish that I ordered by my dining companions did of theirs and theirs also looked much better so I am hoping that it was a one off. I found that the salad bowl with the kraft dressing packet was a touch like a cafeteria and felt that the service was underwhelming. The manager on duty seemed very nice but did not appear to have a grip on the staff.

This is and will be, my favorite Mexican restaurant to beat. Great food, staff was friendly and helpful. The half chicken entree, with a sauce that can't be beat.
