I wish we wouldn't be asked every time we come in if we are OK with a high table in the lounge. I make a reservation for a table in the dining room because we want to be seated in the dining room not the lounge. We were then asked if a booth in the lounge was OK and we also said no.
We were there for a celebration dinner. Although most of our four meals were okay, they were not outstanding. One of my guests found a long hair stuck in her meat. She was offered a replacement meal, which she didn't want, then meal was comped, as it should be. But our happy mood was deflated. We noticed one of the kitchen staff had a long beard which wasn't in a net. I'm not sure if that's a requirement?
Restaurant, meal and service were all great and exactly what we have come to expect from Firestone. However
Bison meatloaf was a big meal ,,good food,,,my wife gluten free meal was excellent and the waitress was very very good,,good conversation between us!
My Family and I enjoyed a great breakfast at Firestone today .The service was very efficient and the cost was low for Breakfast of 6.We will return in the near future.
We specifically went to enjoy the Eataly menu. My husband is Italian and loves Gnocchi and calamari. We have had the mushroom gnocchi during a previous special which was very good but he was very disappointed this time. Gnocchi was over cooked and dry. He did really enjoy the calamari, which is sadly only here for the feature menu and not on the regular menu. I had the gyoza which were lovely. The Seafood risotto was so terrible and very expensive for the amount of seafood in it and portion size. The sauce was not good. Also we do enjoy the Firestone but feel it has a terribly lacking beer menu. No Michelob Ultra (one of the MOST popular beers on the market) and no Budweiser. This is the only restaurant and bar we go to in Lethbridge with no Michelob Ultra or Budweiser on the menu. We were planning to go back one more time to enjoy the feature menu but after our dinner Saturday we cancelled our Tuesday reservation. Our server was nice.
This is a great place to get together for desert and drinks. Unfortunately the menu is really a disappointment, bland not much to choose from, Someone please improve the menu.

Where are the vegan options? They are constantly asked yet still won’t add any. It’s weird. Oh, wait they had a burger wrapped in lettuce and basic lettuce wraps, it’s pretty embarrassing in 2024.

Ordered a steak, and they brought me a sandwich…
It was the biggest letdown I’ve had in a restaurant yet, and then after waiting 25 minutes for them to bring me the wrong food, they asked if I wanted them to make me what I ordered… no thanks, it took you forever to make the wrong thing.
And what made the experience even better?
Sitting at the bar listening to the bartender piss and moan about how much she hated everything.

Sometimes the service is lack luster but the food quality is always the same and never disappoints. weekends can be busy but one of the better spots in town for a decent sit down meal with family and friends. sometimes it's so busy it's hard to hold a conversation at the table. other than that no complaints. the crispy potatoes rolls are my favorite Appy or side dishes
Dietary restrictions: gluten free alternatives made in a seperate area of the kitchen so I am told by staff. haven't heard any issues from my celiac family members

I originally came to this restaurant because they serve Pelee Island wine. This restaurant is the reason I stay at the hotel. Love their menu, my steak was cooked perfectly, crispy mashed potatoes are a must try. Will try the lobster ravioli next time. Love the seasonal menu options and desserts. Service is great, it's nice that the manager helps the staff and takes time to check on the guests. Love the water feature and fire on the patio. Will be back.
Kid-friendliness: They have highchairs and were several kids dining here.
