updated: the staff did an amazing job on the outdoor music festival. the entertainment was amazing and look forward to next year's festival. Also very happy the fundraiser was going to Prairie Pet.
We visited Honkers for the first time while Train Wreck was performing and the bacon cheese burger was very good and the music was amazing.

Service was top notch at those places. No waiting and friendly, happy, helpful staff. Good pub style food and plenty of it. We shared and still couldn’t eat it all. Only thing I didn’t give full 5 stars was atmosphere. The chairs were not comfortable and it is a bar type setup so it’s not exactly perfect atmosphere. But don’t let that stop you from trying it out. The poutine was quite good.

Had first meal at Honkers today. Heard about it for years and we have sure missed out. Best restaurant meal possibly ever. The food was delicious and abundant. Service was excellent. Atmosphere great. Five star all the way. Will be back with friends and family!

We had appys which were VERY good. But when it came to the meal, mine fell a bit short. My Fiances however was really good so we can't complain. Service was lacking.. it was very slow and our waitress did not check on us as often as one should. But she was very nice! The price was quite high, upon looking at the bill it appears there were lots of up charges where the menu did not say they were upcharge. Ex, Deep fried mushrooms on the menu says *served with blue cheese or ranch* we were then upcharged for the ranch.. odd. Same with the sides on my meal, it says choice of fries, tator tots, mashed pots, etc. Then the up charge sides sweet pots, waffle fries, etc. I ordered tater tots and was charged an up charge.. what's done is done, but maybe update the menu so it specifies this.

First time being here on a Thursday, so the wings were half off (Thursday is their day for wings). Got the hot flavor, as it is my go to for any place I get wings. I also got the Golden Goose flavor, which you can get as a sauce or a rub.
The wings are ok. There are definitely other places that are better. They are generous with the sauce however, which I appreciate since a few places tend to put very little amounts. Some of my wings were a little too wet though, so the breading was a bit gooey.
The atmosphere is great. At some points there is live music (unfortunately not at the time that I went). The staff was friendly as well.
This review is based solely on the wings, so I cannot speak for the rest of the menu. I'll have to come back and try other items

We celebrated the birthday of a really good friend of mine. The bands name was Lunch Date. They were amazing. Great atmosphere, awesome bar staff. It was an awesome evening out. Great pub.
