Came in hungry and came out full, Koko is a chill, light restaurant with not much aesthetics for show, but food that makes you feel at home. Service was quick and concise, as expected. The atmosphere was unfortunately the weakest point, but it gets the job done and gets you pretty cozy. The dishes are the main star of this restaurant. To sum it up, It tasted very homey and fresh, each dishes ordered tasted like it was eating at a humble home of a japanese grandmother's house. The noodles were firm and chewy, while the chicken is crispy and moist. While flavorful and juicy, it was not overbearingly strong that it gets you "sick" of eating it. Overall Good and enjoyable, perfect for a family dinner or lunch.

We ate here for dinner. Came here from out of town one hour away from Lethbridge. It took us two hours to finish the food because the service took one and a half hour. The food is great and delicious but the service needs improvement. The food portion wasn't enough for the price too. It was too little for its price.

Heard that Koko was the place to go for delicious Japanese food and we heard right.Some of the best tempura we’ve had. Very fresh and delicious.Staff are very friendly and the service was excellent.
Delicious variety of Japanese food. Had their chicken nanban and it was extremely crispy and juicy.
They do offer gluten free and vegetarian options as well.
