Lighthouse Japanese Restaurant

My partner and I went last Saturday around 8:30 PM because we saw the signage indicating the store was still open. But when we walked in, the lady immediately said they were already closed, and she even motioned with her hand as if she was shooing us away—like we were homeless or something. She could have told us nicely that they were closed. We understand English perfectly well; there was no need for her to gesture in such a disrespectful way.

I popped in at 1:35pm only to be told that the kitchen was already closed. Maybe adjust your signage and Google info to reflect that you actually close at 1:30pm instead of 2pm? Not a good way to run a business. I went to Blanco Taco and they were happy to take my business.

I thought I might not like sushi anymore but I think I just really wanted good sushi and was tired of subpar stuff. All of the rolls here are delicious and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough about Lighhouse. The sushi is always so fresh. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is great! Highly recommend!!

Large family group of us and we were well taken care of. I do not prefer Japanese food, but the family decided on it so my rating is based on that.

However, they do have meals for you if you don’t want sushi! I had a beef bowl and it was very filling. The shrimp tempura is a must to try. We ordered more and more. Overall great staff and quick service.

Went for our first time for my bfs birthday. The food was amazing. I’ve been craving it ever since. Will definitely be back.
The restaurant is open so it has an echo and u have to talk loud to hear each other.
Our server was new I think but he was fine.
I’d highly recommended!

Lighthouse is my GOAT as far as Japanese Food in Lethbridge goes, and for many years now. Captain Ryan Squire runs a great ship with a great crew. Highly-highly recommend Lighthouse.

Easily the best sushi in Lethbridge.

First visit tonight after eating at several other places in Lethbridge. Lighthouse is by far the best service, and the quality and variety of their menu is awesome! Everything was so fresh, light and flavourful! We ordered the meal for three persons and there was more than enough food, with the price being very reasonable. Definitely our now-favourite restaurant. Looking forward to many more delicious meals there! Thank you to the friendly and efficient staff!

My favourite sushi place hands down! I eat here at least once a week and have enjoyed every single menu item! Some favourites include the Neptune roll, caterpillar roll, lighthouse roll, and sunset roll. I also love how fresh their sashimi is, can’t get that anywhere else in town. Service is always amazing too!

It’s the best sushi in Lethbridge imo. With the other sushi restaurants, their sushi isn’t as fresh tasting.
