The place is sort of a hidden gem. Looks small from the outside but honestly very spacious and welcoming. Our server was phenomenal! He was doing double duty as a cook and serving and was amazing. He was still able to check on us and was very fast. Food was pretty good! Best deep fried shrimp we have ever had. Also prices were vwry reasonable! 4 dishes under $50. We should be back!

We just finished eating here and our party of 4 is leaving here very full and happy. All the food was brought to our table hot and delicious as it was made. The portions were huge. We started with Wor Won ton soup. Highly recommend. We then ordered 4 other various dishes all very tasty. The service was very great as usual. The manager was very friendly as well. Not my first time here and we have always enjoyed our food. We definitely left satisfied and will be back soon. Thank you.

I’m very impressed with the food at Shanghai! Bought half priced deal gift card so went to try again after a year or so of a not so great meal. (Can only use one gift card per table) This time the food was fresh and hot, I enjoyed every dish we ordered! Special fried rice, ginger beef, almond chicken, sliced pork and snow peas, beef and snow peas and my favourite the fried wontons fresh made! Mike is fantastic and passionate about his food, he’s the reason I will return to enjoy some more delicious food!

This is what $68.00 buys you, which of course includes the delivery. All inedible. WORST ever! The container with the brown stuff is supposed to be sweet and sour spareribs. Gross!!! Rice was not cooked, chow mein was awful, ginger chicken was definitely Not ginger chicken and to top it off we did not receive the chicken balls….. however we received the sauce for them. I called and the gal I talked to offered me a credit. I asked for a refund as I will NEVER order again and I am still waiting to hear from the Manager. Well just spoke to the Manager and NO refund. However he will issue a credit, non transferable of course. WOW!!! Did not seem to care at all about how unhappy we were. Oh well! He kept on interrupting me until I finally had to ask him to let me speak and then he was very sarcastic for the duration of the conversation. He told me that he is very customer service driven and to read his reviews as he gives great customer service toot toot. Well, not this time!!!

Great food. Excellent service. Very clean. Management is open to listening. They understand that they can not always please everyone, but if you give them a chance, they will do everything they can to make things right. We find that communicating with the staff rather than just giving negative feedback ends with issues being resolved in a positive manner.

Great Food! Great, Kind and Caring Chef, Mike! Good and attentive Service by the young Tristyn! This restaurant and staff was a true blessing as I was travelling across Canada from BC to QC! I was looking for Chinese Food and parked right in front of it on a Monday late afternoon. I highly recommend this restaurant whether it is to eat in or to eat out. Big window for the two long tables in the front. Generous plates! Merci Mike!
