I avoided this place as I thought it must be too expensive and only served mainly steak which I don’t eat. It was my birthday and my wife searched for a place that had a full lobster meal, not just the tail.

We had a reservation and was seated well. Staff were wonderful and our server was a gem. We did not wait very long for our appetizer (lobster bisque was awesome). The meal was also not a long wait.

I ate that whole lobster with ease and satisfaction. My wife ordered the lobster roll. As a side note, they have the BEST daiquiri in town. We were surprised at the bill which was lower than we expected. So for sure going back. They give you a free desert for your birthday too.

We Enjoyed our meal here. My peppercorn steaks were nicely done. Love their selections of veggies too.
Our server was very friendly. Great services and dinner as always at KEG when we don’t know where to go for steaks at a new location.

This place was amazing! Passing through town I took a wrong turn and saw The Keg Steakhouse and decided to check it out. And it did not disappoint!

First time eating here. The prime rib was cooked perfect. Amazing service. We sat outside in a shaded area but the inside had an awesome atmosphere. It was also reasonably priced. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. My wife and I loved it!

Now we have been to the keg many many times. It’s our night out go to place why? The food is always amazing. The staff is high quality. We have never had a bad experience at this restaurant the only thing they’ve ever done wrong is forgot the mint in my cocktail. But they are also the only restaurant in town that serves this cocktail. So. Hard to complain. This is easily the best quality restaurant in Lethbridge.

Avoid this restaurant if someone in your party has serious allergies. Our party of four were eating there recently and after informing the kitchen of a serious allergy, the food was still somehow cross-contaminated and our guest became seriously ill, so much so that he continued to vomit for the next twelve hours. After speaking with the management at the time and having the bill adjusted, I was contacted a few days later after leaving a poor review on Open Table. The manager I spoke with doubled down on their claim that the cross-contamination was not their fault and that somehow I had shared my dish with the allergic gentleman and was the cause of his troubles!

The sad part in all this is that I have always enjoyed the Keg since they opened in the 70's and find their food delicious and the service first rate. I will never be back.....

Just had a birthday meal at the Keg Lethbridge party of 6. We were not happy at all. Appetizers of escargot, mushrooms were too big and escargot were too small. Onion rings were terrible the onions were the outside skin so string and not edible. Service was very slow. Not a very enjoyable birthday.

We enjoy the Keg Restaurant in Burlington, so we thought it would be great to go to the Keg in Lethbridge for our anniversary (46!). The wait staff was great! But the steak that my wife ordered was over done , she had ordered a rare medium rare striploin but was served a welldone steak, not charred on the grill but burnt (charcol) . I wasn't going to complain but my Keg burger was also burnt. The waitress apologized profusely and reordered our meal. The manager came to see us and told us that the mains were onthe house, we also received two generous portins of Billy Minor Pie for dessert to clebrate our anniversary. it was a good thing we didn't have anything scheduled for later in the evening. We were the last patrons to leave. All in all, it was a memorable night out, not because of the food, or the ambiance, but because of the great staff! If we return to Lethridge someday, we would return to the Keg!

I’m not a steak person, but we had a gift card, so I ordered steak for the first time in my life at The Keg. I left still not a steak person — glad it was covered by a gift card! I’m sure it was delicious for most people, but I regret not trying one of their burgers or lobster instead.

That bread and butter starter though. Yuu-uum. I'll be back for that.

The service was excellent. Our server was professional, friendly, and did a great job — maybe a bit too eager for my taste. It felt like we were both stuck in a corporate scripted interaction neither of us wanted to be in. Still, 10/10 for effort and attentiveness.

If I had one suggestion for The Keg: maybe give your servers permission to dial it back a bit. Just handing me the menu, checking in when needed, and giving us some space would be perfect.

Went for lobster fest. The kitchen did not crack the claws. It was very difficult to crack them. Was told you have to ask for the claws to be cracked! Lol
