We visited this restaurant during our stay in Lethbridge. The place is very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed eating there.

The food tasted so bad and feels like it’s stale and not fresh. I ordered paneer pakoras and samosas. Just spoiled our mood and stomach. Feels like vomit and headache

First off, I tried to order momos which they said would take 20 minutes. They later came out and said they didn’t even have them which I thought was strange. I then ordered the Mango Berry Cheesecake. It came out completely frozen with an icy texture. It tasted freezer burnt. When we brought up this issue to the server she said she would bring back a new one but instead came back with the same one now microwaved. This caused the tip of it to be melted while the inside of the cheesecake was still completely frozen. When we were leaving we mentioned this and she just said “Cheesecakes are meant to be frozen” which is just… not correct? My friends ordered the Rasmalai which they also said was not good and had a bad aftertaste. The Gulab Jaman was okay though. Overall, a bad experience and a waste of $16. Their food is good but I would not recommend their desserts.

The food was amazing: We had a Butter Chicken poutine and Channa / Chole Batura and both items were amazing! (I got a Machurian Vegetarian dish the night before with Naan for take out and that was amazing too.)
The Butter Chicken poutine was one of the best we have ever had. It was simply loaded with cheese and chicken: 10/10 ! A must have!
We were served by Nav who was very attentive and helpful. Thanks for the great service Nav!
Overall an amazing experience 👏

Very unsatisfied and very slow service. Stand there for 15-20 minutes just for 1 lbs of sweet. Girl at front have some different kind of attitude. She even unable to handle at all, the customer service as well. Customers were leaving and skip guy is standing there for the same time of us. They are just taking the calls but not even served single person in the store waiting at the counter.
Ruin the moment because of the sweets as I was taking for enjoy my happiness.

Disgusted and heartbroken on behalf of my friend — unacceptable mistake by Mango Tree.
My friend ordered a vegetable samosa from Mango Tree, and we were horrified to find out they gave chicken instead. This isn’t just some mix-up — my friend is deeply religious and has never eaten meat or chicken in their entire life due to strict spiritual beliefs. This mistake wasn’t just careless — it was deeply disrespectful and emotionally damaging.
We called the restaurant immediately, and all they said was that it was “punched in wrong.” That’s it. No apology that matched the seriousness of the situation, no real concern. How does something like that even happen when the correct item was selected on the delivery app? It shows a lack of care and accountability.
I saw firsthand how much this affected my friend — emotionally and spiritually. Mango Tree needs to understand that this isn’t a minor issue. It’s not just about food. It’s about respecting people’s religious boundaries and taking food handling seriously.
As someone who shared this experience, I won’t be supporting this place again, and I hope others — especially those with religious or dietary restrictions — think twice before ordering from here.
Disgusting experience — served me chicken instead of vegetarian and tried to “fix it” with a free chaat.
I ordered vegetarian samosas and was given chicken samosas instead. As a strict vegetarian, this is absolutely horrifying. I realized after biting into it and felt physically sick. For people with dietary restrictions—ethical, religious, or health-related—this kind of mistake is not just careless, it’s deeply disrespectful.
When I called the restaurant, they admitted it was a “mistake” and casually offered me a free samosa chaat to make up for it. Seriously? You violate my trust, serve me meat, and think a free snack is an appropriate response? That’s not customer service—that’s lazy damage control.
This wasn’t just a wrong item. This was a total failure in food handling, labeling, and respect. If you can’t tell the difference between chicken and vegetarian orders, you shouldn’t be serving food through platforms like Uber Eats.
I’ve already reported this to Uber Eats and won’t ever order from this restaurant again. And if you care about what goes into your food, neither should you.
Food is more than taste—it’s trust. And this place destroyed that.
Absolutely unacceptable experience — deeply disrespectful to religious dietary restrictions.
I ordered a vegetable samosa from Mango Tree Restaurant, and to my absolute shock, I was served chicken. I am extremely religious and have never consumed meat or chicken in my entire life due to my beliefs. This isn’t just a dietary preference — it’s a core part of my faith and identity, and what happened was deeply distressing and offensive.
When I called the restaurant to report this, they casually responded that it was “punched in wrong by mistake.” That excuse is not only careless — it’s completely irresponsible. How can a restaurant operating in a multicultural society be so negligent and dismissive about something as serious as religious food restrictions?
This experience has left me feeling sick, disrespected, and heartbroken. Food safety and proper labeling are basic expectations — but honoring religious and cultural values is even more important. Mango Tree has shown a complete lack of accountability and cultural sensitivity. Shame on them for this careless and hurtful mistake.
I will never order from them again, and I strongly urge others — especially those with dietary or religious restrictions — to think twice before trusting this place with your food.

I love the food here. My friend loved his too the last time we were there, which was last week. I prefer to have the dishes taken away after we're through eating so we can sit, have coffee and visit without our dishes on the table. The second last time my wife and I were there there was some loud noise from someone doing work which we didn't appreciate. The server failed to remove our plates after we were through too and it took us a while to catch a server's attention. We had taken a friend out to lunch on that occasion so it wasn't a great impression... but the food was excellent. Our friend claims to be an Indian food expert and he was thoroughly impressed. But the quality of the food made up for the Mango Tree's small inefficiencies.
