Had the BLT with minestrone soup, delicious. Cold matcha latte is refreshing, and the dill grilled cheese is the bomb dot com. Come give it a go!
Great little coffee shop with vegan options. Staff was very accommodating and helpful with suggestions. The cherry turnovers, vegan, were delicious and out favourite
This coffee shop is my go to for a breakfast sandwich and a chill dine-in experience. Love the local art on the walls the true local feel.
The Joes Veggie Sandwich is outstanding!!!!

Love it here, I’ve never had anything I didn’t love :)
Very much enjoyed eating here. Savory food, an interesting variety of food to choose from, quiet, friendly place.
Great vegan and GF options in a city that has very few!!
Always love the vibe and the food here!
A must visit!
Stopped in for a coffee after a yoga class. Loved the busy social atmosphere and super friendly staff! Ask for my order to go but was served to stay, I decided to just eat my frittata there which was amazing but was only half heated up and was a little cold. The staff is really great about putting my coffee and a to-go cup for me, It wasn't as hot as I'd liked when I'd left but I think their food and beverages are awesome when served correctly. A little sad they stopped with the tiny gingersnap on the lid

Go early for the best bakery selection! About 20$ for a latte and a wrap.
Ordered half a sandwich for $7 but there was barely anything inside the bread! Flat, tiny and looked like it was for a 5 year old. I’m sad the food has gone downhill. Have to maintain the standards people expect from The Penny. Miserable glaring staff and the cinnamon buns were overcooked. :(
The food and drinks were meh, my food was just reheated in a microwave. The decor was dull and everything was messy. We had to clear our own place to sit and a staff member glared at me when I tried to return the dishes to them since there was no clear place to put them otherwise.
Overall it was a very bad experience and I won’t be returning.
I ordered a coffee and waited nearly 30 minutes. There was a group of 3 in front of me, and 3 baristas behind the bar.
The baristas were all taking to each other, and there was only one making coffees/ serving customers. This experience makes supporting local business hard.
I love your cafe. We You did a great job. Thank you.
