I love checking out local coffee shops when I go to new towns or cities.
The Penny Coffee House was a gem!
First, it was open on a Sunday where other coffee shops were not. As an out of towner down for hockey, this was essential.
I ordered a mocha; best mocha I have had in a long time.
I also ordered a lemon square. Omg. Perfect lemon square. Not too sweet. No fake lemon taste. It was so great!
Next time I am in Lethbridge, I will definitely stop in again and sit with my coffee. I really want to try the cheesecake!

We stopped in this afternoon, what a treat! Asked the employee what she would recommend ☕️. She had lots of options, thank you! And the cupcakes were great!
Great atmosphere, full of people on a Sunday afternoon on a beautiful street.
Love locally owned coffee shops that bring community together ❤️ ☕️

Lovely atmosphere. However, seemed a little pricey for the small serving size. I
Our family found Penny cafe driving through the town. The food was top notch. With a service that was caring for our needs thanks for the great pick me up for our drive home! Will be back.

Mediocre coffee. It is self serve and the coffee pot was so close to empty, I only got a half cup. I had to tell them it was empty. The cream container was empty and I had to ask for cream. The ginger cookie was dry.

Homey local spot in Lethbridge offering a few vegan options. The vegan quesadilla was quite flavorful, but the portion size was small for the price ($14.25). Their baked goods menu seems to change frequently, but there were a few vegan and gluten-free ones too. I appreciated that there was no surcharge for plant-based milks in their drinks. There is a small indoor seating area and outdoor patio.

Had the BLT with minestrone soup, delicious. Cold matcha latte is refreshing, and the dill grilled cheese is the bomb dot com. Come give it a go!
Great little coffee shop with vegan options. Staff was very accommodating and helpful with suggestions. The cherry turnovers, vegan, were delicious and out favourite
This coffee shop is my go to for a breakfast sandwich and a chill dine-in experience. Love the local art on the walls the true local feel.
