I called and requested a pumpkin pie. My husband picked it up and unfortunately did not look to see that it was custard pie! When my family ate it it was very gooey and mushy. We could not taste any pumpkin although I'm sure there must have been some but it was pretty gross.

Unfortunately the frozen pumpkin pies were a fail for our Thanksgiving. They were undercooked and soggy. Inedible. I had to double check that the box said thaw and serve! (Which it did) Thankful we had a cherry pie as it was lovely. Pumpkin pie absence was a big deal for my Dad. :(

Purchased two pieces of from them at the market. The crust of the banana cream pie was terrible. It was over cooked and hardly no taste. It looks like they don’t even make their own crust. A pie store should make their own crust for their pies. The peach pie was a bit better, but it lacked taste and the peaches are from a can. I won’t be buying any pies from this store. You can get the same from any grocery store and for cheaper. I had hoped it would be something special. It was not.

Completely disappointed in this place pies are so so. So far I've had two, The Turkey Pot Pie and the Steak and Mushroom . Very bland not much better than a Swanson pot pie. last chance will be the Shepherds Pie. Not holding out too much hope . Won't be back as they are too expensive for the product in my opinion . But everybody has an opinion and that's just mine . Definitely would pass .Sales and service outstanding very friendly just not blown away with product .

I was recommended to stop by this local food store by a friend at work and was definitely glad that I did. This turned out to be a hidden gem and I can't believe that I had not heard about this place until now. In the last month, I have tried 4 different pies. The cherry 🍒, raspberry-peach, strawberry rhubarb 🍓, and chili 🌶️ pies were all delicious but I would have to say that the raspberry-peach & the chili pies were the exceptional ones. I love making my own chili but the way they blend ingredients for this chili allows you to serve a piece of pie that stays together and doesn't have the filling run all over the place when you lift it from the pan. The one thing that would have changed is to add a little more spice to the recipe. However, I understand that this was probably designed to be a mild flavour so it would appeal to a wider populous. I am finding it much harder to think of a way to improve on the raspberry-peach pie. The flavour of this amazing dessert was the perfect combination of sweet & tart. I would have to say that it's the crust that makes these pies better than most. So light and delicate yet, it doesn't just crumble apart when you stick a knife or fork through it. I will definitely be going back to try a whole lot more of what this store has to offer. I haven't tried any fresh pies yet as I like to oven cook the frozen unbaked ones they display inside their freezers.

I would give 10 stars if I could. We had a good friend and client move from British Columbia to Lethbridge and as such they would not be joining us for Thanksgiving celebrations this year. Lois helped us ensure we could provide not only a gift card (for future visits), but also set aside a Thanksgiving pie so our client could pick it up and enjoy it with their family. Though it was a bit challenging of a process to complete over the phone, Lois was patient and ensured we could provide this to someone that is special to us. So appreciative of the Pie Store, and their willingness to help during their busiest time of year. Thank you Lois!!!!
