Unfortunately the frozen pumpkin pies were a fail for our Thanksgiving. They were undercooked and soggy. Inedible. I had to double check that the box said thaw and serve! (Which it did) Thankful we had a cherry pie as it was lovely. Pumpkin pie absence was a big deal for my Dad. :(
The pie was fantastic, the only reason I gave 4 stars was because following instructions exactly left me with an under done pie. I added 10 minutes for the second one. It could also just be my oven.
I was recommended to stop by this local food store by a friend at work and was definitely glad that I did. This turned out to be a hidden gem and I can't believe that I had not heard about this place until now. In the last month, I have tried 4 different pies. The cherry 🍒, raspberry-peach, strawberry rhubarb 🍓, and chili 🌶️ pies were all delicious but I would have to say that the raspberry-peach & the chili pies were the exceptional ones.
