Nice place, looks like traditional little town restaurant, perfect to meet with old friends, I was there to get something quickly and I got it... not many options in Lindale, but was surprising, I would come back.

I haven't been here for years, and they very clearly are under new management. The girl at the front was very kind and helpful, which is about the only good thing I can say. I went in to order a couple slices of pie to take out, only to find the place was completely different. Totally fine, and I checked out their menu anyway. I ordered the peanut butter pie, and a slice of cheesecake to go. It was around $20 including tip. When I got home and opened the containers, my husband and I both looked at each other in confusion. The peanut butter pie was bright yellow, covered in a very icky looking sauce with weird chunks. It was definitely just vanilla custard with a drop of peanut butter flavoring mixed in. I had one bite and wished I hadn't. The cheesecake was the size of my palm, and over $9. It was also a no-bake cheesecake, so there is no way anyone should be paying that much for it. The cherry topping was clearly from a can. It was just gross all around, and super disappointing. While I was there, a man complained that his omelet didn't have anything in it, and the girl at the front was very apologetic, and really felt bad about it. She alone saved this review from getting one star.

Service was excellent!
The cream of broccoli soup was delicious!
We both ordered the special, which was spaghetti & steak.
The portions were large, but the spaghetti lacked flavour and seasoning.

Large portions of delicious foods served by a very polite young waitress.
Recommend stopping in for some real food.

Out in Linden for work and several people suggested this place. Quaint, comfortable, and "small town", but the food was very good and the service excellent and attentive.

Although the food was very good, the air quality was not good. If we hadn't driven the hour and a half to have lunch here we would not have stayed. The pie was certainly the best though

Went for lunch on Saturday, not very busy, but took awhile for service. Food was not great, burger was very over cooked, the olives in the Greek salad were not pitted, so almost broke a tooth biting down. Not a great first impression after the re-opening and no iced tea?!
