I had the cheeseburger which was well cooked and very tasty. Fries are extra at $10. That price is absolutely ridiculous. 2 Flies were in the restaurant. Waitress didn't come over to refills the coffee. she disappeared into the kitchen area and we could see her from the table. I asked numerous times very loudly asking for refills but was ignored. Finally after about 5 minutes she came out of the back and refilled the coffee. There's no reason to not give excellent service as me and my friend were the only ones there. So one star off for way overpriced Fries and another star off for the worst Waitress service i have ever had.

I chose the Bistro burger & my friend had the Cowboy burger - it was delicious
The dinner menu looks amazing- I’ll have to make reservations for another food experience. Cute little log building- just like the old west. Right on the Main Street of Longview.

Cute little restaurant in Long View with decent burgers but not great sandwiches. We ordered the Cowboy Burger which was pretty good! Lots of meat for the patty and good sauce. However, the meat was a tad on the drier side.

The other item we ordered, was the Beef Philly which was disappointing. The bread was very soggy and the meat was much too fatty.

Would go back for the burgers but not the sandwiches.

Flys and more flys. Wonder what the kitchen flys were like!

We were on the waiting list for the Longview Steakhouse, but that didn't work out. Our host at Willow Hill Lodge recommended Little New York Bistro. The food was amazing, the service was excellent! By and far the best steaks we have ever had and the veggies were cooked to perfection. It's a lovely family business. We had family traveling with us who had just completed a month long tour of Alaska, BC and the Rockies, and they said this was the best meal of the trip.

After reading the shining reviews of this restaurant, my girlfriend and I decided to pop in for lunch. It turned out to be one of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had.

The worst thing was there were flies everywhere in the restaurant, larvae festering on the tables and the windows, landing on us and the food constantly. The bathroom was swarming with them. They were so bad we had to pay and leave before finishing our meal. I'm usually not bothered by a fly or two but this was franky extreme. I shudder to think what the kitchen standards are like.

Secondly, the food was overpriced, uninspired and bland. The menu only had sandwiches, burgers, salads and one kind of steak. We ended up both ordering burgers. It came with no sides, getting fries with your burger was +$10, onion rings +$12. Charging almost $30 for a standard burger and fries is completely delusional. The bun was soggy, the meat was unseasoned, overcooked and the toppings were bland, nowhere near fresh and falling out of the burger.

We ordered a chocolate milk, it costed almost $6 and came overwhelmingly sweet with the chocolate powder unmixed sitting at the bottom of the glass.

When we tried to collect the bill from our server and get out halfway through our meal, our server had disappeared. There was nobody at the front desk, nobody around except the the kitchen staff who completely ignored my request for assistance. He showed up after five minutes of waiting at the front desk. Although he was polite, cordial and offered to remove the sent-back chocolate milk from our bill.

We had a wonderful lunch on our Sunday drive to Longview. The service was perfect. Very polite and great knowledge of the menu, attentive and personable. The BLT and Cowgirl chicken burger were fresh and flavourful. Fair prices, great quality and sizeable portions. A very pleasant surprise.

Awesome little restaurant, a MUST experience for all!
We had been driving for quite a while and the restaurant was closed until 5 but the owner opened up for us at 3:30. We were welcomed along with our little dog on the deck.
The food was absolutely amazing!
We will travel just to go back and have a meal!
Thank you so much!!😊

An excellent meal at Little New York Bistro! We had the lamb shank which was incredible and the ribeye which was also fantastic. All locally raised. Highly recommend!

We have been coming here for 7 years+ and have always enjoyed the amazing food (off the board) and service. Recently we asked the owner and chef, Jamal, if he could prepare a Moroccan feast for a group. He reluctantly agreed, saying that creating such a meal is very time intensive and he would prefer a group large enough to close the bistro for the special occasion. Our group of 9 was not big enough to do that, but he put it on for us in mid-week regardless. What transpired that evening was breathtaking! The food was served family-style, with dish after dish of amazing and exotic Moroccan specialties gracing the large table. The Seafood Pastilla with the Jumbo Shrimp decorating the top was a standout; the many other dishes included preserved lemon infused whole chicken cooked in 3 stages, and the fall-off-the-bone braised lamb shanks. Four hours later we left with a memory that we will all cherish forever.
