We got to enjoy an amazing night out here recently, it is more than worth the work to get a booking and the wait!! We will be back at any opportunity.

They were super friendly, welcoming and happy, great atmosphere and beauty view of the sunset.
This was hands down the best dinner we have ever had, everything we had was exceptional, amazing flavours and cooked perfectly. Cocktails were fantastic, whisky sour I had was one of the best.

It is very well priced for the quality, both food and drinks.
We had the scallops, soup, salad Filet mignon, rib eye steaks, crème Brûlée, had to take the deserts to go we were full!

This is a rustic gem perched nicely on a hill in Longview. The restaurant is unassuming and so I didn't know what to expect when I walked in.

Space is limited but the food is STELLAR. It's a family owned business and great to see such a successful family owned business.

I totally get why there’s such a long waitlist for this place — it’s absolutely worth it. The food and service are exceptional. Honestly, one of the best restaurants in Alberta and one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The chicken pastilla is to die for, and the 12oz ribeye might be one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Totally worth the drive and the wait. Can’t wait to go back!

I can only say that the quality of food and service is ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT !! The remote location and the beautiful views of the mountains, especially at sunset, add to the ambiance. Outstanding ! Family owned and operated; the detail, care and attention they put into your dining experience is fabulous. You will need to book in advance... But it is 100% worth the wait.

The ambiance at Longview Steakhouse is unbeatable.

From the entrée, to the main and dessert the food was full of flavor. We came hungry and left satisfied with full bellies! The price point was great for the meal.

The only reason for 4 stars is that we got lucky getting a reservation from someone that couldn't make it this day. If a better reservation system was in place this would be a 5 star review!

Oct 11th 2025. We were ever so lucky to get reservations 9 months prior. We took my parents for our yearly meal at the Longview Steakhouse( been doing it approximately 5 years now) and was yet again absolutely amazing and so delicious. Thank you for the amazing service, and outstanding food. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Making memories with my wife and parents at your restaurant is something I'll always cherish. Looking forward to our 2026 reservation.

After many years of having this place in mind for dining, finally last year November I picked up the phone to see if I can reserve a spot. Unlike other folks reviews it was answered right away. The gent on their side mentioned all weekends are booked and I grabbed a Wednesday.
The building is charming, the family is lovely, and yes you don't get a specific host for your table but what's wrong with chatting with more interesting people as long as they get your orders right.
The view was beautiful, with our luck being by the window. Calm music, nice start with a very good bread and some butter.
Soup which comes with the food was delicious. We ordered the veal and chateaubriand and finished with their chocolate dessert.
The steaks were cooked to perfection, the sauce was delightful and there were some vegetables.
I would prefer a bit more vegetable but that's not a complaint.
Asked them about 2026 and got our spot for next year.
The key is if you want a table for a specific day and are not flexible, then it is hard. If you are flexible and don't mind an evening drive then I don't believe there would be an issue on booking a spot.
They are running a small kitchen and there are certain number of guests they can accommodate.
