Stopped in for a bite to eat and to check out the saloon. It is a historical local gem. The food was pretty good, what you'd expect for a pub. The atmosphere was great. Lots of character. Certainly worth the visit. The service was excellent. We will be back for sure.

This old saloon style restaurant has a cute charm! The pieces for food and drinks are very reasonable. Food was very “mid” and vegetarian options limited.
great old fashioned cowboy biker bar in the heart of the foothills
We've driven past the Twin Cities Saloon and Cafe many times but never stopped before today. It is a genuine piece of history along Highway 22 in Longview. The saloon is authentic and feels like it was built in 1938, from the swinging saloon doors at the entrance to the worn wooden floors. The walls are covered with photographs and stories from the past. They had a good selection of local craft beer. The Longview burger was an excellent pub burger made with local beef and a perfect bun. It stayed together well.Service was excellent and our server shared some interesting history about the building.
Vegetarian options: I saw a vegetable wrap on the menu

It’s a great place to go, and great atmosphere!
Great place with a lot of history, even for myself since 1974.
We have been to the Twin Cities Hotel (or Longview Bar as it's also known) before but not for some time. It seems to have gone downhill and that's too bad. We sat on the patio. There were 3 of us and we each ordered Diving Fox IPA's and Grunt Work Amber beers. All good there. My son ordered the Chicken Bacon Wrap with fries ($18), my husband had the full order of wings ($18) and I had the Fish Tacos with a tossed salad ($16). The wrap was okay. The wings were not crispy and were barely hot (spice wise, even though my husband requested them that way) and my fish tacos (I requested not breaded) were quite pathetic. There was a sliver of fish that was heavily seasoned with a steak spice (which really made no sense) and a few red onions and tomatoes. Not good. We think our server may have been new as she was not as attentive as could be but I'm giving her a bit of flexibility. We'll go back but only for a beer on the patio and no food. It's really too bad as we used to enjoy steak sandwiches and the most delicious cheese hamburger soup!

We stopped at the Twin Cities Saloon for lunch with grandkids. The place is basically decorated and very authentic. Nice menu with good selection of items. Took long time to get the food. My burger was above well done!!! The onion rings were almost burnt. The grill cheese sandwich was very delicious. The Fish and chips were just OK. My wife ordered a Caesar salad, no bacon was mentioned on the menu… it came with lots of bacon. When my wife told the waitress, she said: Caesar salad always come with Bacon!! We had it tons of time and never had bacon on it before! The chicken strip was very good and so was the order of sweet potato fries. Overall I would rate the food average! Service was slow but with a smile.
We did not stay at hotel but we went for an incredible lunch . Our server, Manuela was excellent and very attentive and we had incredible food! The steak sandwich was over the top excellent and cooked to perfection and the fish and chips were great! Onion rings were great. We highly recommend it!! Great atmosphere and had outdoor seating too!
This was a bit of a surprise. I'd driven past this Longview legend for many years in hwy 22 and never stopped in. However we found this place to be a terrific stop for dinner after hiking in kananaskis for the day. We ordered steak sandwiches which were reasonably priced and very good, and had local beer on tap. Service was friendly and attentive always and happy to share the history of this saloon, built originally in the 1930s. Overall really good and we will be back again for sure Some of the below comments and complaints from other reviewers are quite far off the mark.
Great food and good service
Everything stop by Long view, I always stop by Twin City for a steak sandwich. Highly recommended.
