Stopped in for a bite to eat and to check out the saloon. It is a historical local gem. The food was pretty good, what you'd expect for a pub. The atmosphere was great. Lots of character. Certainly worth the visit. The service was excellent. We will be back for sure.
We've driven past the Twin Cities Saloon and Cafe many times but never stopped before today. It is a genuine piece of history along Highway 22 in Longview.The saloon is authentic and feels like it was built in 1938, from the swinging saloon doors at the entrance to the worn wooden floors. We stopped at the Twin Cities Saloon for lunch with grandkids. The place is basically decorated and very authentic. Nice menu with good selection of items. Took long time to get the food. My burger was above well done!!! The onion rings were almost burnt. The grill cheese sandwich was very delicious. The Fish and chips were just OK.
