We love to pop in, the food is really good. Service is always friendly and prompt. We take all our visitors here bc it's such a unique cool little spot and everyone loves it.
Good food, well priced
Good food and neat venue
A great place to stop for a meal after being on the road. The Sugar Shack next to it was perfect for an ice cream dessert, we will be back!
Sat outside for lunch, beautiful day, awesome service.
Great service and some food is excellent. The item I had was just ok.
unique decor, sign on entrance no dumb people very funny, inside sign $5 charge for whining, western style swinging door. parking is free but backing out is dangerous as you almost back up onto the road. had twin city burger and onion rings, very tasty. one star off for providing milk instead of cream with my coffee. very pretty waitress. a regular patron, big guy with cowboy hat and work boots swaying as he left which means he should have been cut off but wasn't. had to ask for ketchup and relish. no dessert menu. washroom basin is a barrel. there's a pool table looks like they have live music sometime. closed on Wednesday and Thursday
Food was great, service was great and our waitress was fantastic. Loved the old western saloon style swinging door.
Tough one to write as I love Longview and the area, but wow, it was not good today at Twin Cities Saloon.
My daughter and I popped out to the saloon for a late lunch on Sunday. The waitress warned us it would be slow as it was busy, which we were fine with, but we expected that to mean it would be 30-ish minute wait for food...it ended being an hour and a half.
We were a little pressed for time at the end so asked for our meal to be packed up. We were there for almost 2 hours total.
My daughters chicken fingers looked and tasted like they'd been in the deep fryer for the entire 2 hours as they were extremely well done. My BLT was a typical BLT.
Sorry to say we won't be back anytime soon.
On a side note our server was lovely and the ambience in the saloon was good.
This is a review of the hotel portion only as the Saloon portion was great with good food reasonably priced, a good selection on tap and attentive service. The website still says $75.00 a night but at check in it was suddenly $100.00. The room was clean but with the old style bed frame you feel like you're sleeping in a hammock so unsuitable for anyone with a bad back. The bathroom was clean but no water pressure at the sink and no chair/stool/counter/wall hook to hold your clothes and toiletries. There is a towel rack but it's not very appealing.
When you wake up in the morning there are no services so the gas station is the closest place to get a coffee. Alternatively the Little Apple Café opens at 08:30. Just be sure your key ring has a room key and the front door key or you will be locked out of the building. Unfortunately there are no other alternatives in Longview. It's not that I was expecting much based on the website pictures but the hotel part of the establishment seems like an afterthought. I should have made my reservation in Diamond Valley which would have been $125 but opted for this to save $50 and be closer for my ride through Kananaskis. Unfortunately it didn't work out.

I only put 3 for service because sometimes they get over riden with bikers, not the Saloons fault at all, waitresses there are amazing and they do what they can. To me they are 5 star but for the purpose of ratings for others I just want to be sure they understand it may not be as fast as they think seeing a 5 stars then going and complaining. If you complain you don't belong there anyways.
Get some real country Canadian atmosphere in this authentic olde worlde saloon, complete with swinging doors! Good food too.
We were only going to stop in for lunch. Had wonderful lunch that we are going to make a day of it and come back for supper. One of a kind type of place. They had the smoker going out front which only added to the experience.
It smells incredible in here, very smoky and woody! Such a lovely, comforting vibe.
We recently had the pleasure of dining at the Twin Cities Saloon, and what a fun experience it was! Having driven by this place countless times, we finally decided to stop—and we're so glad we did.
The Twin Cities Saloon is not just a restaurant; it's a charming and authentic cowboy bar with great music that has preserved some pretty cool history.
Our beer was cold and our steaks were cooked to perfection, making it an excellent meal all around.
The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly our wonderful server, Ella. She was exceptionally attentive and kind, making sure we felt right at home. Ella went above and beyond by helping us secure tickets and book a room for the night for an upcoming performance by Dallas Alexander in February. We truly appreciated her dedication to ensuring we had a memorable experience.
If you're looking for great food, a lively atmosphere, and a chance to meet some friendly locals, then the Twin Cities Saloon is definitely a must-stop place. We highly recommend it and can't wait for our night in February! :)
