I stopped by Burger Baron in Mayerthorpe and was honestly so impressed. The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome right away. My burger was fresh, juicy, and just really well made, you can tell they put care into what they serve. The fries were hot and crispy, and the milkshake was the perfect finishing touch.

Food is awesome. The burgers are juicy and flavorful, the fries are fresh and crispy, and there's a great selection especially for the price point. I found the cashier a bit taciturn, and the decor of the restaurant is very dated. Additionally I think some upholstery staples from my chair were poking me, but since I was in Mayerthorpe on my way home to Edmonton from Grand Prairie, I wasn't exactly expecting a fine dining experience. I got a great fast casual burger, and the food more than made up for everything else.
