Whistle Stop Cafe, Mirror Pizza and Pasta

We drove out from Red Deer and arrived before the Dinner rush just after 4 and after a week of looking forward to watching our Son try the Heart Attack Burger to see if he could finish it- the Chef would not make the Burger because he did not want to thaw the Meat Patties. Was extremely disappointing as that was the whole reason for our visit. The Server was amazing though, very great service from her- funny and friendly! Food was good but the Bacon could have been cooked a little longer.

Refuse to support a separatist business.

Just swung in at 7pm on a road trip with my boy, cheeseburger and fries with gravy. THIS was the taste I was looking for from my childhood. Old school cafe, crispy edge burgers and home fries. Lady taking my order chatted with me the whole time. Felt like a regular. Will 100%.be back

I make special trips from stettler just to go to mirrror for a burger. Hands down best food around. I see all these other people writing these bad reviews and all i gotta say is they are full of baloney. These guys are great, ignore the dumb reviews and go eat the best burger with some good Albertans.

This restaurant is out of my way, but I am left thoroughly impressed every time I take the time out of my day to stop in here. Good old fashion country hospitality that hasn't been nearly common enough in the last decade. They make excellent burgers and I hear their pizza is wonderful too - that'll be what I get next time!
