Attempted to place and order and pay online but our payment details weren't being processed, and because of this issue we attempted to call in to place our order like the old fashioned way. Our call was answered by an automated system that stated they don't accept orders by phone. This inability to actually place an order through the website and by phone caused us to change our order to Domino's instead (a lower quality alternative).
I know that the food at Sal's is amazing because I've eaten from there many times while working, but by not being convenient in taking our money without having to go in, it lost them a sale. Unless the payment processing on their website works in the future, they will probably lose future sales from the impression that was left by this incident. It is very unfortunate and kind of pains me to say as I wanted to support a local business.
The food is amazing! I do have to ding the service rating from our experience as it isn't out of the question to expect orders to be taken over the phone for take out, even in this day and age.
I'm obsessed with Sals in Morinville! Their donair with double cheese and extra sweet sauce is a game-changer 🤤. The pizzas are clearly made with love, and the milkshakes are ridiculously creamy and thick 🍦. But what really sets them apart is the friendly service - always greeted with a smile! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Sals. You won't regret it! 👍 5/5 stars

I had the donair poutine and it was really tasty! The portion was massive. The people I was with had a burger, also huge and very juicy.
The service was quick and was a number callout system.
Regarding atmosphere, the music was super loud and due to the size of the place, you just couldn't avoid having a speaker above your head.
