Experience @ Bar n Grill, arrived for lunch, ordered drink & fish chips, 2 1/2 hrs got plates of fries no fish. Not waitresses fault, Pd for drinks and left. Over the yrs we’ve eating there, Going down hill last several times. Loosing customers that drove from Vulcan. POOR lkichem staff.

Stopped here from Travers back to Calgary. Great little pub to stop in for a bite and pint.

Went here for dinner at around 7 pm. I was after a beef dip since it was soooo good last summer when I ate there. We all ordered food. The steaks came with soup or salad. So out comes the soup tomato noodle. So thick like pasta sauce with soggy noodles and Luke warm like it had been in the fridge. Then out comes the steaks no where near the 10 oz on the menu and skinny and not cooked right the baked potato was ice cold and so were the vegetables. My beef dip came on bread that was toasted with one folded over piece of beef that was cold. The fries were for sure not fresh or even hot. The chicken pasta was very short of chicken. My son said the fish and chips was just okay very overcooked. We had several beers and that was the only good thing about this experience. I really should have taken pics but the whole experience sucked. I did get a pizza to go but I didn’t eat any of it I was so turned off the food. Even after I talked to the manager the next day she didn’t offer me any money back she did say we could come back for lunch but decided to pass. I’ll take a hard pass on trying to support this local business. They should be embarrassed by the lack of effort. Just terrible.

We were camping nearby and thought we would treat ourselves to what we thought would be a delicious lunch....
I ordered the Hawaiian burger and Cesar Salad, my friend order a chicken wrap and my mom ordered the potato skins.
My burger and bacon was burnt to a crisp, you can tell someone tried to scrap the burnt parts off. I could t NOT eat the Burger. I took the bacon out and saved for my puppy (he thought it was delicious). The salad was very "limp" and drowned in dressing, it was very difficult to find anything "Cesar" about it. I could not eat it.
My friends Chicken wrap was soggy and the oil or Fat it was cooked in was just dripping when she picked it up. She could not eat it.
My mom's potato skins were dry and hard she could not cut with a knife. She was the only one who complained to the waitress. The waitress was very friendly and offered to replace the potato skins with a Cesar Salad. Of course, it was the same result. Un-edible food. We were very disappointed because most times small towns Diners surprise you with yummy food. We paid and left the uneaten food on the table, went back to the campsite and started cooking.
