Ordered the butter chicken and palak chicken with rice and naan. First off the naan is store bought not good for the price they charge. Secondly we asked for mild and got alot of spice. Also the onion bhajis were put in to a plastic container so they go soft and squishy. Hot Fried food should never go into plastic. Overall we paid way too much for a meal to be this bad. I would avoid this place as its charging restaurant prices for Indian food but giving you canned quality food.

We drive truck and pass through here often. Stopped in at the bridge several times. In the past the food and service have been great. Stopped in last Sunday for the butter chicken and were told that there were no chicken dishes available. Disappointed but ordered a stir fry and it was just ok. Stopped back in the Tuesday after to get my fix of the butter chicken and was very disappointed. I’ve had it every other time we come by and it was nowhere near as good as it has been. The portion size was much smaller and the rice was old and dry (crunchy in spots).it seems things have changed there and not for the better. I’ll give it one more try on my next time through but two strikes so far. It’s too bad because we really love supporting local places and the couple that own the place are super friendly.

Day trip to Nanton from out of town and we chose The Bridge for breakfast. Saturday 11;00am and the first thing i noticed was how busy it was outside at the gas pumps and how very quiet inside at the restaurant, only two tables being served. We were seated at a torn/ripped seat at the window and given menus. I noticed a lot of east indian meals listed. Our order was taken by a nice young waitress and brought out in short order. My order consisted of sausage/eggs/toast and potato chunks. The plate looked quite bland, not extremely appealing, the sausage was dripping so much oil that i used two napkins to soak up the residual. The eggs cooked as requested, the potato chunks were dried up as if left over from the previous day. I have never before seen assorted jams repackaged in small containers and left out on the table. This was the first time i have been offered a visa machine to pay where the tip starts at 15%. Next time in Nanton we will not return to the Bridge but try another restaurant.

Driving through Nanton, we were looking for a place eat and discovered a surprising gem having eaten at many of the popular indian restaurants in Calgary. The food is delicous and the flavors are truly homemade. Service was attentive and kind without being instrusive. We plan on returning to try other items on the menu!
