Stopped in on our way to the Shuswap, Blueberry Mango Pie was amazing and my Americano was hot and tasty! Lovely shady outdoor tables and a fun atmosphere! All in for two coffees, two pieces of pie, tip and tax we paid a reasonable $30 for being all the way out west. Thank you!!

Visited the Nordegg area and discovered the Minor’s Cafe while in town. Our group ordered various sandwiches, the Lasagna Soup and enjoyed craft beers from Rival Brewery in Rocky Mountain House. The various selected Pies were impressive! Highly recommended 😋😋

Finally got a chance to try out the Cage, missed out in previous years due to power outage and timing. This road trip had a focus on the Nordegg Discovery Center and the Miner's Cafe. You order at the counter and they bring your order to you. It was very busy, but the line went fast and the food came quickly. It was very good and the pies was amazing.

There was quite the line when we arrived. Quite the busy stop for lunch. The line did move quickly tho! There isn't too much seating area so that'll be you biggest challenge: to fine a place to sit.

Oh boy.... the food was nothing short of spectacular: even the bread for their sandwiches is baked in house, and the banana cream pie. WOWSERS!!! Two thumbs way up. Only down side, is the crowding. Certainly these crowds are a testament to the restaurants gobsmacking quality , but still they were a tad of a turn off to an otherwise delectable dining enjoyment.
