I absolutely love supporting local businesses and when we are lucky enough to have “94 Take the Cake” it makes it even easier! They made a beautiful and delicious cupcake arrangement for my son’s 25th (champagne) birthday, and he was thrilled. Thank you again for helping to make the Christmas birthday a huge success.

Original interior, 2D. The coffee is delicious, the pastries are too sweet for my taste. We visited during the Christmas period, there are still a lot of decorations from Halloween.

Picked up a cake and some desserts for my husbands birthday and was so disappointed. The cake I bought was one just from the case. It was a vanilla cake and strawberry frosting. The cake was dense, very dry and had no flavor. The frosting was so unbelievably sweet, but did have a strawberry flavor to it. The cake was $50. We both had one piece and threw the rest out as it was so bad it wasn’t worth the calories. I also got a slice of carrot cake. Which wasn’t bad. But it was again dry. Not moist as a typical carrot cake would be. As well it had more shredded coconut than carrots I think. I also got come macarons. We tried the salted carmel, chia, and vanilla. The macarons were very good. Only thing is the salted caramel was more of a salty caramel. But still very good.

I love their decorations outside and theme cupcake/cookies/macaroons. So talented and creative! Last time, I was visiting on May 4th, which was Starwars theme. My kids all enjoyed starwars cupcakes.
I would like to enjoy the Halloween dessert, so I visited again. They were quite busy even though weekdays. I really liked their cupcake and little pumpkin cake pop. It was stinking cute😍 Coffee was soso.
Parking: Parking spot is so hard to find on this whole Elma street at lunch time.

A lovely cafe with a really cool look inside. It's on a really pretty street if you choose to get your coffee to go and walk. We only sampled a vanilla latte and hot chocolate, but both were great. The baking looked fantastic. Definitely worth the drive from Calgary for a unique coffee/dessert experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Kid-friendliness: Kids will love how the inside is decorated and the dessert options.
