Stopped in at A&W and was really let down. The food was substandard. On top of that, the dining area was absolutely freezing. It was so cold that it was uncomfortable to sit and eat, and it made the whole experience even worse.

Just a great burger and fries. You can taste the difference between this and MCD. The beef just seems better. The fries are tastier without the ton of salt others use. A Canadian business that does it right.

Unwelcoming environment. If you have kids don’t bother going here. The lady at the till was rude and just looked at us like we were garbage. My daughter dropped her milk and instead of helping us she just gave me and my daughter a dirty look while I cleaned it up myself. I’ve never encountered such a rude and awful fast food employee. She may be competent but she should not be working in customer service at all. We will not be back.

I was at 400 Big Rock Lane, in Okotoks, AB. I had the Sausage 'n Egger in a hamburger bun 🍔 instead of English muffin, along with a coffee and a hash brown. The lady serving me was very pleasant. And the meal was done very quickly.
I prefer A&W mostly because they claim they are not using hormones or steroids to raise their cattle.
I used a current coupon, cost me $6.49 + GST.

Had a coupon for 2 teen combos and the cashier wouldn’t let me use it because the teen burgers were on special. It ended up costing me $2 more dollars than what I spent. Even after I asked her to cancel the order, she said it was in the system and left it as it was. Very disappointed with that. Live and learn next time I will just get her to scan my coupon.

Would I like fries with that to make it a combo ? Were you paying attention to my order at the drive-thru. The staff need to work on their listening skills. Or is it the management's fault. Perhaps A&W itself is to blame for that silly question. People will ask for what they want. Yes or no. Like this review if you dislike those extra questions at the drive-thru.

We were there tonight around 12:15 am and placed our order first. It took almost 15 minutes for them to prepare just two orders, and the fries we received were extremely cold. When we mentioned this to the worker, he responded with attitude, saying “what the hell,” and continued speaking to us very rudely. The lady then told him not to make new fries because she was going to refund us the money.
Would be nice if they do not make faces when you ask them for a double double. You have to make your own and doesn't taste the same.

Went to Okotoks A & W with a grandson. Absolutely DELEICIOUS teen burgers, very clean and friendly staff. Service quick. Got a 20 min drive south and realized I had no phone. Turned around and went back to see if phone was there. I thought it might have fallen out of my pocket but I had left it on the table. Neither my grandson nor I had noticed. THANK YOU to staff my phone was safe and sound.

After dining there with my family one evening about a month ago I will NEVER buy food from this particular A&W again. The floors were riddled with stomped food, the tables were filthy, the condiment and utensil station was filled with garbage and there were no straws left. There were two cleaning carts half-hazardly placed randomly in the dining room. Two crew members were seen sitting in the dining room fully clothed which seemed to be the end of their shift because I saw them leave half way through my meal. When I worked fast food as a young adult we had to make sure the dining room was always clean for our guests, we made sure to cover up our uniform when eating or taking a break in the dining room so as not to leave a bad impression. If the dining room is any indication of what happens in the kitchen I can imagine it's a complete cesspool of trash and a disgusting place to be. I'll be eating at and ordering out from the A&W at the Petro Canada on hwy 2 at the Aldersyde turn off. 🤮
