I liked this location as it is one of the few places where I can get raw unsalted seeds for my parrot. They also carry ingredients that I use in cooking like white pepper. I also like their selection of candy that is hard to find.

My wife and I visited the store and felt unwelcome from the start. The staff member with glasses stared at us suspiciously and did not greet us or offer any assistance. It was a very disappointing experience, and it felt like basic customer service was lacking.

I like the idea of bulk barn, but my children are celiac and while every offer is made to reduce cross contamination, you simply can't stop customers walking around the entire store with the same scoop so anything marked as gluten free, is probably not.For anyone in the same situation as this, you do have an option to order an entire bin of product which comes unopened. This might not be practical for most but it could help some.As with many discount stores the staff are sometimes younger, I find younger folks are a little more influenced and passionate over current affairs which might explain some of their passion for masks, a passion I don't share.Aside from that, I've only every been greeted warmly and I don't think there has been an occasion where I have not been offered help, even on very quick visits.I rated 3 because the corners cut to achieve a discount stores objective means they will never likely fully impress, but the enthusiasm for masks back when covid was a thing was off putting.
