Cobs Bakery with simple ingredients is worth a try. They have a variety of delicious Bread and sweets treats. Favorites for me are the Cape Seed Bread and the Dried Fruit Loaf. I also enjoy the Cinnamon Bun and individual lunch pizzas.

I got a free offer to try Cobb Bread, I am not really a big consumer of sweet pastries. I tried their butter tarts as my mother used to make them when I was a kid. I had to throw them out, for what they lacked in actual filling they more than made up for in sugar content. I guess the Cobb stance is if it is not appetizing just overwhelm it with sugar and everyone will love it. I for one will not be shopping there, and not recommend them. I do not want to elevate my blood sugar any closer to diabetes.

We bought a Danish Custard Teatime pastry/bread because it looked delicious. We were very disappointed that there was as good as no custard or raspberries in/on it! The pastry/bread was dry and the two raspberries in the entire thing didn't make it better.

So for 8 people only 2 got a raspberry, the rest was chewing on a dry loaf of bread.

I do not recommend this bakery at all!

It's no different than most COBS I've visited. Fresh baked quality products at a decent price.
