We patiently waited for the buffet to be refilled tonight and asked our waitress to confirm the ingredients - no MSG for my wife - she came back and confirmed that some items would indeed have it - so instead of the buffet they made us the biggest and best dinner for one ever !! Thanks for such great service !!!

Was looking forward to trying this Chinese as I haven't been in years and new management, unfortunately it was a bit of a let down, had the buffet where there was barely any food but what food was there was good although the dessert they had to offer was terrible with barely any choices, expensive as well, not recommended but I recommended hong kong garden in Shawnessy best Chinese I have ever had there.

After the new owner took over, the buffet was reopened. You might have noticed that there wasn't a lot of food when you first arrived, but fresh dishes are brought out quickly. This way, we're always getting freshly made food each time, which is fantastic—and the taste is absolutely great.

A very good restaurant to visit. I ordered BBQ pork and Lemon chicken to go, but the owner still offered the deserts for free! The food is tasty and the customer service is very good as well. I will definitely come again.

Restaurant was clean. The buffet food are fresh. The moment you entered for buffet the owner will start to make new foods of each kind and they are served very quickly. I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere here. Will come here often. Recommended.

Not too sure how this place is getting 5 star reviews, but I guess taste is subjective. Had the beef and broccoli, ginger chicken, and pineapple fried rice. Rice was bland, pineapple was barely even yellow. The beef and chicken were mediocre. Pricing was decent.

Order take out From Happy Valley. Had egg rolls,chicken fried rice, ginger beef, beef with veges and Shanghai noodles. All the dishes were flavorful with a surprising amount of meat and vegetables. The broccoli was done perfectly and the dishes were not too salty and not greasy. Will try some other dishes next time...maybe a hot pot.
Just had a fabulous dinner (take out) Food was so excellent. Flavourful. Large portions. Great lil’ place!!!!

Went early on Wednesday for Happy Valley dinner buffet. Tried a little bit of everything. They put out smaller amounts in the buffet so it stays fresh and it was very good. Service was excellent. Very attentive to our wants. Restaurant was clean. I understand these are new owners, I sure will continue to support them. BTW they have an ice cream bar with approximately 8 tp 10 different flavors, I've never seen that before. I am looking forward to trying their a la carte menu too.

the food here is really good and plentiful. the first time my husband and I tried this place after Big Rock changed owners we loved it. the food is very tasty. I would,recommend giving them a try
