The ladies were in love with my two pups and went above and beyond to help me shop while I had my hands occupied since the store wasn't busy at the time. One lady even helped carry my bag to my car! Seriously amazing people who work there!

Not the typical nutters that one would expect but I didn't really read the whole store name either.

I’d like to provide some feedback regarding my recent experience with the older white haired lady at the checkout. While it’s understandable to inquire about someone’s age when offering a senior discount, it becomes inappropriate when the person politely declines, yet you persist until they feel compelled to disclose their exact age — especially when they are clearly nowhere near the qualifying age.

The lack of an apology afterward only compounded the discomfort of the situation. It’s disappointing to be a part of such a disregard for basic manners and respect. I would encourage you to reflect on how you engage with customers moving forward to ensure a more professional experience.

My quest began in search of the elusive "Black Cohosh," a mystical herb so rare it seemed to have slipped from legend into forgotten whispers. It was the kind of herb spoken of only in bedtime stories passed down through generations, where it took on a role both fictional and hypothetical. I started to believe that any record of it must exist only in long-lost scrolls or the dusty backroom of an ancient apothecary buried beneath the ruins of a forgotten city.

After contacting four stores that should’ve known better, I was met with a "soup du jour" of consternation from each person I spoke to, their responses seasoned with just the right amount of indignant awkwardness. Instead of a simple, "I'm sorry, sir, we don't carry that," I was treated to a smattering of rhetorical questions, all spiced with subtle hints of resentment. By the time I had reached the third store, I felt as though I’d been in an uphill battle in quicksand designed solely to test my patience.

But despite these setbacks, my resolve remained intact. I had faced off against three dragons—each more difficult and petulant than the last—but my determination carried me onward toward the fourth and final dragon: Nutters Everyday Naturals.

Sitting tall in the saddle, I steered my steed toward the dark maw of Nutters. From my saddlebag, I withdrew my "Herald's Slate"—an oak tablet that delivers messages at horse-speed, complete with a quill stylus and carrier pigeon alerts. Crafted by magic itself, this enchanted mirror lets you hear distant voices, summon knowledge from the ether, and send messages across realms with just a touch of its glowing surface—though its magic is known to be more challenging to control and manipulate by those of a more advanced age at times."

I connected with Katie, the keeper of this domain. To my astonishment, she not only carried Black Cohosh but in various forms: pills, tinctures, roots, salves—an apothecary’s treasure trove.

Katie's alacrity and cheerful efficiency shone through. Her competence made me wonder if she was, perhaps, a dragon in disguise—a creature of powerful magic who simply chose not to rely on her bestial form. She made what had seemed like an insurmountable task feel effortless, refreshing even. In the end, she parted with the fabled herb for a mere pittance, an amount so trifling it felt almost like a gift.

Thanks to Katie, my quest—once fraught with frustration—ended in triumph. She knew her products inside and out, saving me a great deal of hassle. It's clear who I'll call first in the future, using my trusty communication contraption (phone).

To the rest of the so-called "natural" stores out there: if you wish to claim that title, stock the uncommon and obscure—or at the very least, be honest about what you do carry. Nutter’s sets the standard. The rest of you should take heed and reflect on this: you need not summon your beast-forms to address the world’s challenges. Much like Katie, your most powerful magic lies in honesty, clarity, and the simple act of speaking with respect and kindness, even if challenged or embarrassed for not having what your patrons seek.

Nutters, with its warm, inviting interior, feels as though the very air embraces you as you shop. It’s one of the few places in town where I’m not met with sharp offense for bringing my little Maltese companion along. Though the store may be smaller than others, it has a huge heart, always ready to fill any gaps in product availability or answer questions about herbs, natural remedies, and product resources. Nutters captures the very essence of what an apothecary might have been 400 years ago—thankfully, without the bulk opium, mercury, or arsenic-laden treatments.

Here, the only humors they seek to balance are those of light-hearted satire, while avoiding the humor-disrupting topics of religion, mo

Super service from directions to location and desired product location in store. Staff also helped locate a local vendor whose product was not represented by store.

Good place to go get health products, I brought my puppy Elvis here and had a lovely time. I asked one of the employees where the filters were and she took me right to where they were, the staff were happy and helpful!

owner of the store and other employees were not wearing masks when i went in there today, the lady that helped me was wearing her mask down at her chin. I thought everyone should know this about the business. Thank youl

Nutters discriminates against people with medical problems. They do not honor medical mask exemptions! We do not support businesses that discriminate! If I was in a wheelchair would you turn me away? Just because you cannot see a disability, does not mean it does not exist.

I have been a customer for many years. The staff are are knowledgeable and friendly. If they don't know the answer, they will look into it for me. I have appreciated Power Tuesdays for the last several years. I'm giving them five stars because of their products and service, but I do wish they had a bigger store (some days it's empty and other days it's a little squishy). Thank you, Nutters Okotoks!
