Spices - East Indian and Nepalese Cuisine

In November I placed an online order with Spices and had an issue with that order. I contacted the store via email, and they were apologetic and offered a replacement curry on our next visit to try and make things right.
On our next visit we ordered our standard curry that we really enjoy, the Matar Paneer and were not disappointed. Upon pickup I was not only given my curry at no cost but also a dessert as a good will gesture. Maybe I'm used to poor customer service and the excellent customer service I received at Spices stands out all the more.
We have tried mostly vegetarian dishes at Spices, some are great, a few we found too sweet. However, I will continue to try new items as well as our old favorites because Spices is a great addition to the Okotoks community and they are a restaurant who takes care of their customers.

The food is tasty, however the only issue for us is the portions they give. They literally give half the amount and don't fill the containers as other Indian places give. Its also slightly more expensive. You have to buy 2x the rice as if you were to order the same at other restaurants.

Spices was wonderful!! The Rogan Josh was fantastic and the atmosphere was great and the Indian music was beautiful and not too loud! I highly recommend this restaurant!!

The food was excellent, and served in a timely manner. I appreciated the decor and ambience - very warm and welcoming, and quiet enough to carry a conversation. For me, the highlight was our server, Pushpa. She has the biggest, warmest smile! She made the visit and the meal so much better! Our visit was 2 weeks ago, and I apologize to Pushpa for the delay in posting, as she, and the people in the kitchen, deserve our thanks for a great meal and a wonderful experience.

It was just the right amount of low mild spice level as we asked. Pricing is great as well. Whenever I am back in town, ain't asking Google where to eat Desi food. They're just Perfect.

We stopped by for a quick dinner and loved the restaurant setup (including nice outdoor patio for summer) and hospitality. The food didn’t meet the expectations (momo was average, chowmein was too oily) and I was going to give 3 stars, but giving 4, as the staff was really friendly and accommodating.

Authentic Indian taste♥️ we tried their Malai Chicken Masala and Navratan Korma with Garlic Naan 10/10🔥 The food was delicious and full of flavor! The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Great atmosphere too. Definitely coming back! 👍🏻
