Ordered a Taco salad. Asked if it came with salsa. Yes. So I said I would like an extra salsa and sour cream. Received the salad. Not in a taco shell, oh well, but came with one salsa. So I reordered my extra salsa and sour cream. Received bill, charged for 2 salsa and one sour cream. 4.00 each for salsa and 2.00 for small sour cream. Asked the server doesn’t the salad come with one salsa. The salsa is in the salad dressing already. Wish I was told that up front. So extra 10.00 for salsa and small sour cream. What a rip off. Every other place you order a taco salad you get one salsa.

The George provides the meals for me and the rest of the Calgary Dino’s football team. Not once has there been I meal we haven’t enjoyed. Hats off the the George and all the staff who work hard to keep us fed everyday!

The George is hands down one of the best spots in Okotoks. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between classy and welcoming—it feels like a place you can go for both a casual night out or something a little more special. The food is outstanding every time—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The cocktails are top-notch too, and the staff know their menu inside and out, always happy to make recommendations. Service is consistently friendly, attentive, and genuine, which makes the experience even better.
If you’re looking for great food, amazing drinks, and a place that feels like the heart of Okotoks, The George is it. Highly recommend!
