Amazing experience. I haven’t been to White Elephant in a year due to bad experiences but I decided to try it one last time. I had the Khao Soi which was absolutely amazing. The restaurant completely cleaned up with amazing food and a brilliant atmosphere. The colourful decorations make the restaurant more lively and tempting to sit down and enjoy a meal. A wonderful young woman took our order and cracked many jokes making our experience very pleasant! White Elephant is a true hidden gem.

This is a fantastic restaurant that I can’t recommend highly enough! Every dish I have tried here I love. My go to is yellow curry with tofu and or shrimp!

We had a bad experience in 19 July. It’s obviously they were short staff as they had a very young inexperienced guy service. Poor guy was tring hard. We had other people's food delivered to our table. Food seemed to be microwaved as some came out steaming hot and muchy. Not the usual food served

Beautiful, colorful and clean place. Good music and the food was great quality and delicious! I love that they have a few locations. We were visiting from California and were craving Thai and were so happy to come here after being recommended it by a family member. Bookmarking this place for future visits! We ordered the Khao Soi with chicken, Pad See Ew with chicken, an iced Thai green tea and regular Thai tea. Portion sizes were huge so we took home leftovers. The plates would be great for sharing. The Thai tea had a darker flavor which we LOVED and so was the green tea. Our waiter was the sweetest as well. If you’re craving Thai this is a must!

Excellent place for Thai food.
This is in Okotoks right in the vicinity of Costco and Home Depot. The food was excellent for our liking and the portions are really good. We couldn't finish our options and had to ask for boxes for take away. We went there during a summer afternoon when the temperature was high. Our food being spicy and to ward of the summer heat outside, the iced tea was the perfect way to finish off our meal. The staff was courteous and professional. Would love to visit the place again. Anyone who likes Thai food this is the place to visit.
My personal recommendation - Veggie spring rolls and Thai Matsaman Curry (Spicy Alert).
Note - Loved the decor which gave us some time to click some pictures before our food arrived.

Price increase, take out portions smaller, 45 minutes for rice. Whilst waiting, food delivered to wrong tables there was 3 tables! Worst service and last time here it’s shambolic!! Expect the worst and if it’s not that bad you will be fine.

Ordered takeout at the okotoks location , decided to try the chicken peanut stir fry with some rice. I was disappointed as it was very dry and barely had any peanut sauce it was basically plain chicken and vegetable stir fry. The sauce I did manage to taste was also the most bland Thai food iv ever had. Zero spice and basically zero flavor. Waste of 35 bucks, If this meal was half the price I would still go somewhere else.

I visited this place a few days ago and was quite disappointed with the service. The wait times were extremely long and brutal, which was a stark contrast to my positive experience months ago. It’s unfortunate that this place has taken such a turn for the worse.
