I thoroughly enjoy every meal I have at Just Jacks. The restaurant and bathrooms are spacious and clean, the staff are professional and pleasant, the food is constantly perfect in presentation, quantity, and quality, and the atmosphere is calming and enjoyable.

Very quiet when we arrived, still had to wait to be greeted/sat. Took a while to bring water to the table, even longer for coffee, that was like dishwater. Ordered crab cakes as an appetizer.. they were burnt. The Chipotle sauce and cheddar cheese overwhelmed the flavour. Veggies on our entrees were 2 pcs of broccoli, and 1/4 of a pepper.. instant potatoes that were grainy, ribs that were dry, and the end pcs were not edible. Food was lukewarm when served, and cold about halfway through the meal. For $32/entree it was not an experience we will repeat. The supervisor offered us a discount, then only gave half what he said he would take off. We had to question that as well. Very disappointed, as we had heard great things about this place.

Appetizer, crab cakes. Two large almost burned crab cakes buried under a mounf of lettuce and a very large amount of cheese, making it impossible to actually taste the crab. Entree one, ribs. The most bland, flavorless, driest ribs I've ever had. A very thin splash of sauce on very skinny ribs that must have been held in an oven as the meat on the ends was so dry it made a noise when hit with a knife, ribs required fork and knife to separate. Entree two, salmon dinner. A small square of salmon roughly equivalent to the size of my palm, mashed potatoes were low quality instant potatoes and tasted very grainy as well as were barely at eating temperature, cold before the salmon was eaten. Both entrees, mixed veg was 2 long broccoli sprouts and a large slice of a sweet pepper,, 3 pieces total. The coffee was just plain bad. Tasted watery and burnt at the same time. And this meal totalled roughly $100. Reported all this to the supervisor who reduced the bill to his credit. 100% will not be going back.

Aman is a great server, goes above and beyond for you, pays great attention to your order and super nice.
The food was great. We got the loaded potato skins and substituted the sour cream for the beer and cheese dip, I would highly reccomend to do the same, was absolutely delicious.
Peach and beet salad was very flavourful and fresh. Steak and shrimp was cooked just right and the fried potatoes were delicious (add beer and cheese dip made even better ;) )

I have to say that young man (at the age where they're all young to me)Aman is fantastic, knowledgeable, courteous, personable and great memory. He always remembers our beverage order. It is really great to be remembered. Aman is a credit to this establishment, I sure hope they appreciate him. Five stars.

I am usually working as a DJ within the Pomeroy when I stop in, but I had the chance to sit and enjoy myself today. The Mango Down is the best beer I’ve ever had on tap, the Bruschetta turned out incredible & both Liteasha & Lindsay never fail to put a smile on my face with their kindness and amazing service.
I believe this is a hidden gem & I couldn’t recommend it enough!
