I was excited to try the ‘special vermicelli,’ but I was a bit disappointed by the portion size, especially considering the price. Compared to other Vietnamese restaurants, the serving felt small for what I paid. That said, the flavors were great, and I really enjoyed the taste. I just hope they’ll consider giving a bit more in the future to match the cost.
I have no idea why this place is rated so high. An Olds 4.3 must be a Calgary 3. The food was pricy, medium level quality and small portions (especially for Vietnamese). The service and atmosphere don’t even exist.
We had the salad rolls, which had very little flavour the sauce to dip. The man was pretty good though and the lemon grass beef, which didn’t live up to expectations. Overall, I probably wouldn’t go back.
