Not sure if they're under new management but we were VERY disappointed in our rake out order this evening. The rolls have shrunk to half the size and flavor was just OK. Spent $100 and nothing more than a snack for 4 people. We used to get a full meal for the same and also have leftovers!! Won't be ordering again.

Delicious food, fast and friendly service, and amazing atmosphere. I feel welcome every time I come in and this will forever be my go-to restaurant. The owners are so lovely and kind, it feels like I’m coming home after a long day when I step through that door. The whole place is filled with laughter and I love to go sit and eat salmon sashimi with friends. The service is also very quick. Usually sushi restaurants are relatively slow because sushi is hard to make, but they will have your food to you within 5-10 minutes depending on your order!

Parking: Not too many spots for parking, around 10 maximum. It’s usually never a problem though because it’s not too busy.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp up to the door.

Refusing a customer order, even if you have only 10 minutes left before closing, is a significant error in customer service. Small businesses often rely on repeat customers and positive word-of-mouth, and turning away a customer can harm that relationship. I’m passionate about supporting small businesses, but it’s disheartening when they don’t extend the same level of support or flexibility when customers are trying to make a purchase, especially at the end of the day.

I usually never leave negative reviews but my experience here was honestly shocking. First of all there was two waitresses, both running around frantically almost, and it was not very busy in the restaurant, like 3-4 tables. They could not answer any of our very basic questions about menu items, they didn’t even know which soda drinks they had, and they had no idea what came with any of the menu items, how many pieces, what type of noodles etc. So then we ordered two Miso soups to start, and they came out COLD, I have no idea how, as the bowls were cold too, it was very obvious. We also ordered waters, and the waitress forgot about them, we had to remind her after 20 minutes of waiting for them. We almost just got up to leave as it was taking a while and we were confused and shocked by the service. I previously worked as a waitress and hostess, and I have never witnessed anything like this before, even from people on their first day as a waitress. Wanted to put this out there for the owners and anyone wanting to dine in here. It appeared they had zero training at all and it was their first day, with no management present. I know they were busy with take-out orders too, but they could have had one person on the phone/orders, and one person on the floor, easily.
