We had breakfast at Smitty's in Olds with friends we had not seen in a long while. The waitress was immediately there with water. We took a little longer than usual to order and she politely waited for us to catch up. When we were ready to order, she was there. We each ordered and she nodded. One word: Wonderful. Vanessa our server was outstanding as she was the lone person on and was very attentive, personable, kind and happy!!! Food was exceptional. Ordered a club on sourdough with a basket of fries... every bite was as expected. I was very satisfied. Not a fan of the smaller Julien fries that are normally offered as you do not get a true potato taste from them as you do with larger offerings, like say, crinkle cut. The smaller fry cut reminds me of Macdonald's...
