I dined here many years ago when I was in town buying a truck. It's probably THE best Canadian Chinese food I've ever had. I still think about it sometimes and that's why I'm late on the review.
When I'm in the vicinity I go out of my way to stop in.
It was nice to see some more authentic items as well, which isn't common in this type of establishment in a small town.

I am from Manitoba, but lived in Ontario for the last 15ish years. I moved to Olds last November and I have to say, this place has the best Chinese food I have ever had. It has become the main place my family orders from if we eat out. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is beyond anything I have ever received. Kelly is such a friendly, accommodating, and humorous person. She really is a delight to deal with. The portion sizes are large, prices are great, and you can that she puts her heart and soul into this place. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Wow this place didn’t disappoint, we were in town for baseball and were craving Chinese food. Google reviews told us this place was amazing and wow they were right. The owner was so so friendly and the portions were incredible. Homemade dumplings best I’ve ever had. Run dont walk to this place
Maybe you were having a bad day in the kitchen but honestly it was the worst Chinese food we've ever had.
Batter on lemon chicken and ginger chicken was thick and hard, more like fish batter at the pub. Ginger chicken sauce and vegetable black bean sauce was way too heavy on the soy sauce. Chicken in aforementioned dishes was overcooked to the point of being unrecognizable. Vegetables in black bean sauce were soggy and tasteless. The steamed rice was the only edible thing.
If you want to run a successful restaurant it's very simple - make good food! There was one guy in there eating when we picked up the food at 5 on a Saturday night. Not a good sign.

I tried to order sesame chicken, which is clearly on their takeout menu, and even though after clarifying at least twice that we wanted sesame chicken, we received candy chicken (which is basically just sugar chicken). The Shanghai noodles were barely cooked and the beef in them tasted like beef jerky. They one good thing we got was the lemon chicken. Overall very disappointed for the amount we paid.

Honestly this is the best Chinese food I've come across in all my travels. The egg rolls and fried dumplings are the best hands down! I bring people from Calgary there too and they all love it. We're always met with a friendly greeting and treated so graciously. I highly recommend this restaurant. Great people and great food. You can't go wrong.
