Had a donair from Alz on a brief stopover and it was delicious. As someone who hasn't had a donair before, this was SO good! Luckily I was with someone who loves donairs, and they said that this was one of the best they'd ever had.Unfortunately now my donair expectations are pretty high, so unless it' Alz it may not measure up... but that just means I have to come back! Definitely recommend :)

I apologize for the super late review, I’m just finding time to do my west Canada reviews now.I stopped here with my father to grab a donair for the first time in quite a few years and it was simply amazing! I’ve loved the food here since I was a young kid and have never been disappointed with the fresh, delicious food served! I can’t wait to return here when I visit the west again ?Super friendly owner and his food is amazing! Go here and see for yourself ?

Best donair in Alberta. Quality service and even better food!
So delicious!!! Anytime I make a trip even remotely close to Peace River I will go out of my way to make sure I visit Alz at least once. Don't be fooled by the unassuming building, kind of drab seating area, and unconventional service as it hides some of the most delicious food in town. Their cheese donair with everything is my favorite item on the menu but their donair burger is another home run. I don't know what they put in that sweet sauce but I could eat a whole bowl of it by itself. Also their fries are perfectly seasoned and crispy, "best fries I've ever had" from several members of our party!!! Try the donair poutine sometime, you won't regret it.

Stopped here while working in Peace River and will definitely go back when I’m there again. Food was great and prices were very fair. Chicken wrap, fries & a pop for under $20. Also dude was running the place by himself during a lunch rush and was getting food out fresh, hot and on time. Someone ahead of me ordered the donair poutine and it looked amazing. I’m getting it next time.
